The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

If you’re a Lakers fan, what would you do if you were the GM? If you’re a LeBron fan, where would you like to see him end up? If you’re a fan of neither, how happy are you right now?? Lol.

Yes. I have no clue on what should be done, other than blowing the team up, and start from the beginning, like every team LeGm leaves. Cavs and Miami took years but they certainly got somewhere. I was never a fan of them both, and I think Lakers made a terrible mistake in signing them years ago simply because of the players behavior and their image. Also let us not forget the AD pouting years ago when he gave up on his team.

Just note I am a Detroit fan. I believe that Lebron is and always has been over rated. He is a lay up merchant with nothing else. I am glad the lakers are getting destroyed because of how much I hate the Queen. I think Lebron should end up in the g league so he can walk away. Honestly where they go from here is questionable. It’s a Lebronda curse to have him on your team

It would be time to clean house, AD would be questionable about his injuries, he did well this season however. New coach, No Bron, either sign and trade or let him go. Get Younger, and get shooters. Develop them, be patient and slowly attempt at a new dynasty from that by using the LA Lakers brand to bring a big star to the team down the road as we’ve developed, time to reset this team

Not a big Bron fan, I am a Lakers fan tho. As much as I want to appreciate the time he has left in the NBA, it’s hard when he’s on your team and losing while he brings in his old and washed friends on the team to waste another season. Didn’t expect too much this season either, but they do need to have a fresh look soon!

The league has been pampering LeBron James for far too long. They never call travels on him, they give him as many free throws as he wants, allow him to build super teams (they didn’t want CP3 to join Kobe), and every organization allows him to be the GM of his team. The NBA has fabricated a fake legacy for LeBron James, because they wanted to create the narrative that he was “The Chosen One” so they allowed him to hop from one super team to another.

It’s hard because unless there’s a stu*id team that decides to sign him, there’s not much to gain and everything to lose with Lebron so the best move is if he retires or goes into free agency with not such high pay demands. DLo has the same problem but it’s not due to him retiring in a year but he’s inconsistent. Best for him and to also go into free agency. While AD is the best in the team, they can work off of him the best, if they try and build around him then it probably won’t work but what they can do is trade him to OKC for a couple first and 2nd rounds, Kenrich Williams and Aaron Wiggins since OKC need interior defences and AD can play the 4 like he’s wanted to.

Lakers should change their culture. There's too much entitlement, too much reliance on using the brand to buy your way to a championship contending team, instead of building a core and finding complementary pieces. I thought it a positive when the Lakers office didn't yield to LeBron's demands at the trade deadline and kept the team it had. Now he'll opt out and, hopefully, Lakers won't waste their pick on LeJunior. Best way forward in short term might be to rebuild around AD and find a solid centre to lower his usage. Also have the scouts do their job and then see if and when to tank the season in order to get the right pieces to build a new championship worthy team that is an actual team and not a bunch of fading stars and hangers on. OKC and Minnesota are great examples of teams who've invested in the future, and copying what San Antonio's been doing forever, it seems, is never a bad thing. Stacked Phoenix are out. Milwaukee don't look like progressing beyond this round. Hopefully the NBA is transitioning from buddy teams to teams built by GMs whose job it actually is, and who see the bigger picture beyond "wouldn't it be great to have these players just because we can."

The Lakers REALLY need to rebuild. Staying with what they have, isn't going to work. So that means rebuild or go all in. EVERY team in the league knows that Lebron's clock is ticking and will charge the Lakers a huge tax for any big trade. That means, all 3 picks that the Lakers have are going to need to be thrown in on any trade that would enable Lebron to get one more season where he plays for stats, blames the refs and ownership, and doesn't box out Aaron Gordon who was the deciding factor in one of the games of the series. Nobody can call Lebron out on this team. Nobody can say: "Dude! Are you going to box this guy out at all? He's killing us!" If this team packages their 3 picks to chase a single ring for a 40 year old I am....actually....after 30 plus years....out. There is no way that this team can rebuild without any draft picks. The idea of people signing with the Lakers because they're the Lakers is long gone. It died with Jerry Buss RIP. The Lakers should have learned this by now after the multiple strikes outs on big free agents over the years.

You hit the nail on the head. I am in the same boat. You are with this team. I’m a Lakers fan for life. I’m not going to switch teams and at first I admit I was really happy when LeBron came to the team, I celebrated the bubble championship. But ever since then a couple of things started happening and I guess it’s because clutch sports and his fans were realizing that OK they still don’t have everyone convinced he’s the go, but his career is almost over and as a diehard Laker fan I’m not going to just cheer him on as clutch sports in his fans, started disrespecting Kobe Bryant’s legacy. When Nick Wright went on TV and started talking about how overrated Kobe was and how he was never the best player in the league, and that stupid ass, efficiency argument, and this was all done to make LeBron look better, it made me sick. Kobe isn’t even here to defend himself. But then, all of the goat debate, bullshit that has been forced down everyone’s throat, Kobe Bryant is my favorite player of all time, but I can’t sit here and say he’s the goat, I can’t make that argument because it’s Michael Jordan as much as I would love to, I just can’t make that argument . That and when you see how the arguments are presented on ESPN and Fox Sports, and it doesn’t take very much research at all to figure out that most of the argument is just have truth and they’re keeping information that is vital to the subject out of it, because it would look better than LeBron and then, when you start realizing this is happening every other week, you realize that there’s a full on movement behind the scenes to disrespect, great players, and their legacies in favor of this guy, LeBron James. And I am tired of being told he’s better than Michael and he’s better than Kobe. When the only reason this guy made it to the finals eight years in a row in the first place is because he was in a garbage Eastern conference, where the next best team behind whatever LeBron James super team, he was currently on at the time was at best decent. The Eastern conference was so bad that you had teams going in during this period he was on the super team, making to the finals every year, That didn’t even have winning records. So when you’ve got teams that are below 500 making the playoffs, of course in that conference a team that has three or four All-Stars/Hall of Famer on it are probably going to go to the finals at every year. But since he came to the western conference that illusion has been shattered. The only year he made it to the finals was the Covid championship year and yes, I still count that as a championship but let’s be realistic. If Covid never happened and that season played out the way it should have been played out. The Lakers probably would not have made it to the finals because the rankings and the seedings would’ve been completely different. I’m tired of LeBron fans saying this guy is so much better than Kobe when Kobe after Shaquille O’Neal left didn’t have a top 75 player with him at any point after that while he was still in his prime. I love Pau Gasol, but he’s not a top 75 player but that’s all Kobe needed to go win the west three years in a row and walk away with two more championships. That western conference in the 2000s that Kobe beat three years in a row was the toughest conference in NBA history if you look at the wins and losses. Look at all the Hall of Famer and all the other great teams that were in the west at this time and Kobe kept going back to the finals but unlike other people he didn’t lose 60% of the time he showed up when he got there. And that’s the other thing are these fake Laker fans that don’t care about the Lakers, they’re only cheering the Lakers because they’re LeBron James is here. If you’re a real Laker fan you’re not going to sit there and disrespect Kobe Bryant or Kareem or Shaquille O’Neal just to make LeBron James look better. If you’re a real Laker fan you’ve seen greatness and you know what you’ve witnessed with LeBron in a Lakers uniform has not been greatness . Even the longevity stuff like the 40,000 points, 80% of those points or 85 to 90% of those points came before he even put a Laker uniform on. And like you as a real Laker fan I just want the LeBron James Circus out of here. I know it could be 10 15,20 years before we win another championship but we’re not going to win with LeBron. LeBron has never won a championship with just one other All-Star. He can’t do it . He never learned to win playoff series, he just learned how to stack the deck. he could not win a championship with just one other All-Star when he was 29 so he’s not going to do it at age 39 either. I’m just ready for him to be off the team so I can start sharing my Lakers again without this bullshit surrounding it.

That' are the very wise words, my man. I am not a Lakers fan, but I will always admitt that Kobe's threepeat was one of the bests, cause it was won during the superpowered West. Kobe was the closest to be the GOAT after MJ, and before Kobe, before Shaq there was a Magic/Kareem era. The very same Magic Johnson, who leads LA as a rookie to win the ring after Kareem got injured. Those guys are a lightyears ahead of the self-proclaimed King and the Chosen1... Respect to you, man, respect to the Lakers with the pre-LeBron era. I hope that soon your team will return to the right tracks. The biggest mistake LA made in the last few years was trading for Russ. That 2020 championship core was good, they had to deal with a very short offseason. Arguably, if they don’t blow it up there, LeBron has a 5th ring now. Pelinka did a good job pulling them out of that mud, bringing in a supporting cast that clicked down the stretch of last season. However, this Laker era is officially out of steam, they have to change. P.S. Trading away LeBron and AD 2 years ago in hopes of tanking for Wemby is a borderline indefensible take, total Monday morning quarterbacking

Lakers aren’t going to win anything anytime soon with how they’ve constructed their roster, no need to dread the team worse than it already is. If LeBron wants to contend then he has 0 reason to stay in LA, if the Lakers want to eventually want to rebuild and get young talent then having LeBron (and AD) isn’t the go. The Lakers fanbase doesn't deserve to watch their team end up in NBA purgatory for the next 5+ years because management held on to a sinking ship long past it's expiry date. Tbf to me there's something to enjoy in having two of the best players there are in the league be in a team, and compete every season for a playoff spot. The problem with them is that all these years there have always been a relatively lot of teams built better than them, and in a league filled with parity, the Lakers happen to be amongst the less favored. But they really aren't a bad team, nor one not to enjoy come playoff time. I mean, they at least competed and gave an entertaining series against an obviously better team.

I've been a Laker fan since I was 5 years old in 2002. I've seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows with the Lakers. No matter what, I'll always rep purple & gold. With that said, I am grateful for what LeBron has done for the Lakers, but it's time to move on. Every mistake you can think of that the Lakers made during the LeBron era all stims back to appeasing LeBron. Sometimes it works, the 2020 championship roster was built around LeBron's needs and they got AD for him as well. But most of the time, it doesn't work. Trading away that championship roster to get Westbrook, keeping THT and letting Caruso and Howard walk away, hiring Ham over Lue, drafting JHS over Jaime Jacquez Jr and Cam Whitmore. Even if LeBron isn't calling the shots himself, you can't deny that LeBron has a lot of influence over Pelinka's decisions. If they use their 17th pick to draft Bronny, just to appease LeBron yet again, I don't think I'll be paying much attention to the Lakers after that. No knock on Bronny, but he is NOT ready for the NBA yet and that spot could be used for another player that is.

It isn't just Pelinka running the show though. It's like four people +Jeannie. Pelinka, Kurt Rambis, Linda Rambis and Tim Harris the latter two don't know s*it about basketball operations and are on the business side and Kurt's basketball knowledge is suspect as well given how poor of a coaching record he has. The biggest mistake was alienating Jerry West when he wanted to come back here and instead of setting that right Jeannie went with Pelinka purely because Kobe said so and Magic Johnson. She only hires people she knows or is recommended by people she knows.
