I bought a very similar if not the same kit. Mine had lots of problems which I left in a review. It seems as though they fixed all those things. Great build and beautiful guitar.

This is exactly the Gibson V style I have always wanted, with the pickups mounted to the pickguard. What kit was this?

The color was a mixer of mahogany red and tobacco brown from stew Mac lacquer dye.
