Cute carry bag and I love that you sewed up your own little cases to use with your goodies. My mom made a really neat leather bag when she was a teenager and I'm going to make that into my travel art bag any day now. I love old bags!

TWSBI! It was my first (and, still, most favourite) fountain pen that I gifted myself six years ago. I might steal this idea from you, though. It looks pretty soft, like a nice and secure blanket for your ink babies.

Great job! wish I could try it too, but I broke my machine doing a similar project - I was sewing pot holders together to make divided sleeves for essential oils and broke the needle and the thing that holds it in. I heard someone was making pen cases using pot holders . For someone who doesn't have the fabric or batting etc, is a great "cheat" pot holders are cheap at the dollar store. Thanks so much for sharing. I love how you used flannel in the inside of your pen holder. The matching notebook sleeve case was inspired.

The hello kitty sewing machine is legit! Your projects look great Irene! I think you'll like the Midori, they're pretty darn good for showing ink properties, looking forward to hearing what you think about it. That Ecoqua notebook looks good, I haven't tried those, maybe I'll pick one up at Blick next time I'm there.

I liked your pen project. You kept the shape well. I'm not being sarcastic but some beige thread would have worked much better than the black I think.

$50 for a pen case!?- think of all the inks you can try for that, you’ve definitely got your priorities straight 😂. Plus you can have exactly what you want, not just whatever a company thinks you should want. I just made a Frankenstein’s monster of a sketchbook- looks terrible! But I’ve got the paper I like in the binding I like, and the covers are made from cutting mats which is super handy😂
