This is too funny, but kind hits close to home. My sister and I got THE CALL from our mother that our grandmother (we called her Mudder - long story)was close to passing away. We both took the next flight out, and raced to the hospital. When we got there, Mom was standing at the bedside, and began telling us the funeral plans she was making. I thought I saw Mudder grimace and turn her head ever so slightly. We kicked Mom out of the room and just talked to Mudder, trying to get some response. Now, Mudder was a Baptist all her life, so I finally asked if she remembered the first hymn in the old Baptist hymnal, "Holy, Holy, Holy", and started singing it. About halfway through, she started singing along, although her eyes were still closed. So my sister asked if she was thirsty, and she nodded. After one sip, Mudder's eyes popped open and she said in a much stronger voice, "Take that away from me. Tastes like SHIT!" What we thought was tea was flat, watered down cola. God know how long that had been sitting there!😂 My sister and I started hugging and laughing, and told the nurse, who just happened to walk in, "She's still in there!" Boy, was Mom pissed. Another long story.

I love it! Lyanna you are such a good actress..some don't know you play all the roles...well sometimes there are friends..but I love this. And...we're those ear buds in her nose? I ran this past my my Chinese daughter in law, to make sure it wouldn't be insulting..like when I met her parents for the first time, bowed at the waist several times and...HUGGED THEM. They are good actors too. The act like they like me and I gotta tell you, they really pull it off.
