Excellent trip through the work floor of Nicks Boots. I live only a few hours south from them and have been there a few times for my boots and rebuilds. I’ve also been to the three other handmade boot makers in that city as well, but Nicks have been my choice for 23 years and I’m barely in my 40’s. Keep it up Buckin!

Great video Buckin, your energy radiates and it shows. The crew at Nicks are true craftsman, they make their job look easy but they are true craftsman and it shows in the quality in a well built boot. I definitely will be looking to get a pair of Nicks soon. Nothing beats a handmade boot that is crafted by a craftsman who puts his/her passion into their work. Thanks for this , we all need reminders that hard working people are proud of what they do,, and they should be, how to encourage young people there is honor in work.

With the GP boots we would fill them with hot water, put 2 pairs of socks on, then put our feet into the boots full of hot water( as hot as you can handle) and wear them until dry.

What a great video! Such great American craftsmanship one nail/stitch at a time. You pay a bit more for quality but in the long run it is money well spent. Nicks Boots is an hand crafted art and it take so many artists for each pair.

Just spent a day taking a train to Chicago in my 2000 White’s. Time for a rebuild but need my 2016 Nicks’s resoled first. Can’t do without for a day! Great video!

Ive been wearin 16in boots for 25+ years everyday, As a climber you can find yourself gearing up for a climb any minute from storm damage to gettin lil sallys kitty cat from the treetops good boots are the first element of a climbers gear to me and the 16in boot adds a little armor to your leg in my opinion.
