Actually america experiments with a lot of weird pizzas all the time (in small independent shops usually). Recently I tried a 'Red White and Blue' pizza that was topped with cream cheese, blueberries and red onions, which sounds weird but turned out fucking delicious

I think that was a thing before though. I can't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did do it in the Philippines. It honestly wouldn't be weird. Just plain delish. I eat left over adobo as a sandwich. And those are always a treat.

For my fellow Latinos/as in chat, this is Filipino Adobo, a dish, not the one we use as seasoning. I've been confused by this in the past and still want to try Filipino Adobo cause it looks and sounds good. All though, topping Pizza with Adobo (seasoning) slaps, so an Adobo (dish) Pizza sounds good AF

They should do a seafood pizza. Seaweed salad, shrimp, salmon, scallops and raw tuna on at the last minute. Butter and garlic sauce. Romano and Asiago cheese.

In my home town, pickle pizza is on a few restaurants menus, and is pretty popular. It has my family divided. My brother and I love it while my sister in law and our mom hate it lmao. It's made with Alfredo sauce as the base and topped with dill and mozzarella.

I love pickles (sometimes I will just eat pickles on their own for no reason. I blame my grandma, she canned pickles every year and they were SO DAMN GOOD)...however....I don't know that I would try a pickle pizza...to me that even seems a bit much on the pickle side. You are very brave to try something you absolutely hate for this channel. Aki, you are the GOAT.

Actually, it doesn't seem that bad. Growing up, I would go to the corner store and buy a pickle and a bag of chips all the time. I feel like if they experiment with the flavors, it could be good.

So I'm not sure if Japan treats those surveys the same as the US would, but in the US anything less than perfect grades is treated by corporate as if the employee spat in your face and cussed out your mother. You would think 4 stars would mean something like "oh it was good but it's not like the employee had fed it to me" but often it's treated as a negative response. One of my old jobs 5 was good, 4 or less actively counted against us and lost us hours.

I think it even varies state to state. I worked for a franchise but corporate still did OER, and some of our stores literally got 2s xD (the ones I worked for got 4s, but we were taught 5star was like this unattainable fantasy goal only Jesus himself was capable of)

That's really stupid, 3 is like "It was okay, nothing special", 4 is "The person was really nice and helpful" and 5 is practically perfect service, beyond what you expected. Anything below a 3 I would get, but below or at a 4? That's too harsh.

I would suspect just considering that it's Japan. Even here in NZ, we're not super dissapointed or insulted by anything lower than 5 stars, but we do try to aim for 5 stars. It also really depends on the customer. Like we've genuinely had karen's come in, and then they give us a 2 star review for the dumbest shit, in which case it's more like a 'Eh, they're just being entitled'

I love pickles but also... that is way too many, Papa Johns had a hamburger pizza awhile back that I would split with my husband and it had chopped pickles with... probably half of what was on that one slice throughout the ENTIRE pizza. It was pretty dang good! This though is just cheese and pickles, I would have just pulled off all but two per slice or all of them and ate it as a cheese pizza. Bless you for your suffering Aki

Actually here in Rossford Ohio, we have a new pizza place called JCups idk if it's available anywhere else. Anyway, they have a baked potato pizza & so much more. So there's at least one pizza place in the US willing to branch out as far as Japan does.

I have seen pickle pizza in Canada before. There is this annual summer fair in Toronto and they are known for having all kinds of delicious and/or really bizarre food, and pickle pizza has been there for years.

Pickle Pizza is an iconic fair food where I live! (I'm p sure that Canada is obsessed with pickles especially considering our chip flavours) the one I get has a creamy dill sauce as well as cheese and its just a really nice balance. If you couldn't tell I do love our local pickle pizza but I also love pickles in general.. like any kind of pickle. Also deep fried pickles are really good! The local fair/rodeo loves having new weird foods every year. Like this year there was ketchup and mustard ice cream, mini doughnut boba lemonade, and a cherry koolaid chicken burger! I actually tried the koolaid burger, it was surprisingly good.

I think domino's is more like 20 $ now for a large pizza luckily there are cupons to help I usually spend almost 30 to 40 bucks because I get 1-2 pizzas and a cheesy bread

We have a pizza place in Alaska that occasionally does a pickle Rick pizza. But it comes with garlic cream sauce, mozzarella and provolone cheeses, fried chicken, dill pickle chips, bacon, and garnished with spicy Sriacha sauce. I’ve never had it because I don’t like pickles either.

Fried pickles are amazing. Also a pizza place near me made a cheese burger pizza. It had hamburger, cheese and pickles on it. My husband's favorite pizza sadly they don't make it anymore
