Carb cycling should be done equally i thought....if you do 2 days high protwin, you do 2 days high carbs.. 3 days high protein, 3 days high carbs ..i feel this was not balanced wnough to be fair...carb cycling like i explained wkrks greqt for me

Lots of things wrong in this video. First of all. He didn’t follow the diet as he was supposed to. He had a day that was 6500 calories. That offsets a lot of progress right there. Secondly. In the first physique photo he is inside with horrible lighting and is pushing his stomach out. In the second physique photo he is outside with good lighting and basically posing. If you follow the diet you will lose fat. He did not. A month of being in a calorie deficit will 100% cause you to lose fat. He didn’t follow the diet correctly therefore he gained weight. Don’t listen to this guy

Dex can have a big variance due to water retention and/ or glycogen stores. Also you should have been following the protocol better. Not tracking your high carb days can lead to disaster. The protocol has a specific calorie surplus for those days. If you overshoot that it can offset your days in deficit.

I mean. You just overate. Would be interesting to see the difference between lower calorie high/low days vs. low calorie straight through. For example, 2,000 calories for 30 days. Or 1800 calories for 5 days, 2400 calories/higher carb 2 days. And if that difference is worth the “risk” of over eating on your higher carb days.

Just started video see you started at around 205lbs curious your height? I'm 6'4" and bought home gym last October was 272lbs and now just got under 235lbs was stuck at 250 for so long doing warrior/keto diet berberine and lifting a lot, a few days of Peloton bike cardio and walk dog twice a day for a mile and often add 45lb Ruck to burn extra 30-50 calories. If I can lose 10-15lbs more will have abs again. I notice I lose weight much faster when I mostly eat fish salmon, sardines, mackerel etc.

Lease you tryed. Prob sats fats in processed food. I try a 4 day normal two days low then 1 day bit extra. Works for me do that it I have a week at work where it not so physical. Plenty sleep try meditate. Try cut the sugar I quite chocolate 11 years ago hardest thing I done (got a soya allergy soon after I done that) I managed wean my sweet tooth issue over two months transfer to fruit. Then quit that. Have 500g bag of raisins over a month. Cure sweet fix when it bad I have couple rice cakes with strawberry jam spread thinly. Hope this might help you or somebody else. I reply on carbs for energy oats rice cakes or fat from 3 whole eggs over the week lean pork or beef. 5 percent fat not to keen on fatty cut of meat. Grill it all. Turkey mince breast.

You DID NOT try Dr Mikes approach. High carb days should be low fat medium protein.

There is no way to know the calories of what you where eating when you ate out, so this whole thing was kind of a waste 😁

@@UnknownUser_0000 The difference between the calories listed on their website and what they actually are can be significantly different. I’ve measured some of the servings of sauces and portions at different places compared to what the website listed and you’re eating almost double the calories at certain places.

I didnt touch a bite of it, but i did collect as much of the grease/butter/drippings that came off of it while it was hot, and again after reheating it as leftovers. Just from those drippings, not any of the actual food, was 1/3 of the calories listed in the meal. And thats just the stuff that i could gather from the outside. That wouldnt include any of the oils still trapped inside the food. As well as the calories from the actual food itself. So yeah...those numbers are so far off you might as well just immediately double whatever number they give on the menu.

I found someone who's a glutton like me, it makes me feel better. I eat healthy but I have cravings like you, I like chocolate donuts and cookies. But I'm not fat at all, Im a fairly big guy at 14% body fat.

The online fitness community is largely bizarro world. It’s fixated on being lean when, in reality, the supermajority of gym goers are overweight, if not obese. Much of this is owing to how much food influencers consume while staying lean. Who, in watching this man scarf down that quantity of food in a month, thought he was following a “shreds program”? How is it possible that someone at his body fat percentage would need a high calorie day every week?

The problem with carb cycling is that carbs make you hungry for more carbs. If you want to lose weight just eat high protein lower carb and lavoid anything that spikes insulin. You dont even need to track calories.

You ate too many calories. You won't gain fat if you're in a calorie deficit, which you should be if you want to lose fat.

You can’t rely on calories from fast food places to be accurate. You need to cook your food. I’d be willing to bet if you measured all your food and cooked it at home and did it precisely you would have leaned out a lot.

I like your challenge's least you do them for full 60 days actually see the results. To be fair when I eat carbs feel more pumped too much protein yeah get ripped but muscles go flat 😖💪💪

It’s too bad your Alpha Lion brand uses toxic food coloring agents and highly processed artificial preservatives. Otherwise, I would have chose your brand as my go to. The flavoring was fantastic also for your pre-workout supps. Hopefully in the future you will revise your ingredients list for a healthier option.

No one who competes on a national level and especially on a pro level and got themself numerous times 5% bf or bellow does this. calories were way off. For best results all the meals should be cooked and measured by one person based on the exact calories you need to be in a deficit. Also there was not much cardio done on the video.

Carbs + Fat WILL make you fat !. You can't have both simultaneously if you want to get shredded. It's either Carbs + protein, or FAT + protein..

Eating at so many restaurants your calories would not be on point. Restaurants will not give you the exact calories and macros

No - you don’t not loose any muscle. The high carb/calorie days just help you work harder in the gym the next dat, which helps maintain muscle. But calorie cycling isn’t a miracle. You lose fat by maintaining a calorie deficit. It’s not that complicated. And all those eating out in restaurants are massive calories. Also, whether a food is organic or not doesn’t matter for weight loss. Watching this vid is exhausting and I can feel my IQ free falling.

Looks like you didn't track your calories take out food is impossible to do so all they meals out even listed on menu it can be 30% of the real figure so no way did you do this properly in all honesty it may not work for you if you did no not try the diet you cheated repeatedly need some more won't power!
