I love this video. I've been doing the two resume idea for a while now. I have a artistic creative one I made with latex and a more traditional one to post on online job listings. It really helps to have that depending on the type of jobs you apply for whether they're tech or not. Also one thing to help speed up the optimizing process is to make a CV and update it at least once a week with overly simple descriptions for each entry. This way you have an easy and quick way to access your previous experiences. It makes tailoring your resumes to specific jobs so much easier.

As an SDE from a Maang company that's done 100 interviews, the do the online assessment in pairs thing actually really explains some of the results I see when people come onto the on-site interview. Honestly, try the OAs yourself because the onsite is just going to be more challenging if you don't. Cool video though, with great editing and storylining. Subscribed. Also, do you have any content ideas that would be good coming from a senior SDE?

Same reason why exam results of the last 2 years should not matter, in online exams, many cheated. Actually, I might have been the only one at my uni not to cheat.

I’m kind of surprised this process is so different from senior leadership roles. I didn’t expect that big of a difference. There’s no ATS, we go through candidates with our own eyes. The recruiters reach out to you first not the other way around. No one looks at your resume, they look at your LinkedIn. The only thing that really matters is your past roles.

Hey, just wanted to say this is a great video, keep it up! I was wondering if you have any tips on how one can get started with data structures and algorithms. For example, if we know a programming language and the basics of data structures should we just start off with one of the leetcode lists you mentioned on the video? Or did you prepare differently? Any information is greatly appreciated.

I feel internship wise really is very subjective and dependent on recruiters. Like in Asia, most of them don't give a damn on how long your internship is or how many have you completed. They only care about 'are you speaking the things they wanted to hear for the position that you're getting interviewed for'.

Even though I most likely will never work at FANG etc. as I am a numerics engineer and I am not a 100% sure if the general way these vids are presented I just absolutely gotta say you are so sympathetic and real, this in the end turns your channel to something outstanding. Hey, sorry figma is where my designer made this. There is no way to get this level of detail with word or other tools (maybe latex? but my designer doesnt know that). There should be a way to duplicate it, you wont be able to edit it directly or everyone would overwrite each other. Look for the "Duplicate" or "duplicate to drafts" button after opening it
