This series has been a dream of mine for a long time. All of your kind words of support and encouragement is what has given me the motivation to try something new.
Often times kids are afraid of what they don’t know. Instead of just telling them bullying is bad, I believe teaching them about others can be helpful.
Empathy and compassion start at home. I am so excited for this series! Always remember that you are #MoreThan your condition or physical appearance!
You can send some love to Andi & Jack here 🤍 @widbin_world

What gets me is who in the world is running our schools to even allow this bullying?!?!?😡😡😡 Not at all educators or else they would educate the children on having respect for others! I have a nephew who has Aspergers and he was tormented in school! I wanted to go there every day but as an aunt i was helpless. His parents did not show him that he mattered and worthy of being respected! It’s just no room or excuse for this behavior!😤

There was a girl that moved into our neighbourhood. She had burned her self while playing with matches. She suffered burns to 75 percent of her body. Especially her face. No one played with her. I saw her one day sitting by the window and she waved to me. I waved back. I went over to say hi. We became vast friends and I went to the hospital to see her when she went through the painful treatments. The lessons I learned were very important in my development. Her name is Lisa. Much love.

Hi Lizzie, ty for starting ur channel. I am a single mother with 2 disabled sons. Yes, I am single because of this. Dad couldn’t cope, no one could cope. They told me I must be a very strong person as all my family and friends walked away. I am not strong but God is bigger, higher, stronger, faster, mightier and He sorts out the rubbish while we sleep. Even my grown adult daughter walked away and has gone non contact because my boys are too challenging and she doesn’t want to think about my struggles anymore. I have work long hrs and deal with this on my own. I appreciate u post. May it make people see what we go through.

In a society that’s gone full on with superficiality, fakeness, and self-victimization, I think yours is hands down the single channel we are most in need of. I just discovered it a couple weeks ago, and I’m actually amazed at the caliber of a person you are. I can’t think of how anyone could possibly be a better role model, and among content creators you stand out as a diamond. You're right Lizzie. Some people don't know or are judge mental. I am 48, had a stroke at 45. I went from a motorcycle roughneck, to a man who has trouble with day to day activities. Sometimes people give me weird looks, move away from me, one lady in the market even openly accused me of being drunk in front of other customers because of the way I walk now. I just smiled and said I don't drink, I'm disabled. She turned bright red and dropped her head in shame. I know how it feels, and it makes me happy to see your smile and positive demeanor! As a 54 yr old woman today I always tried to get to know the different looking kids through school. I was teased and austrocized a lot but kept true to my heart. I had parents who took me to special olympics events when I was young as they were volunteers and I learned from them everyone is different not because of the way they look or act but because we are all human and one of a kind through God. I loved being the friend to the kids who didn't look like me because they taught me what unconditional love looks like. I knew from 8 that I would have a child with a disability and God gave me 2. I love them and have spent my life teaching everyone around us about them and autism. I love seeing you for the memories come flooding back of all the friends I have had over the years. God has blessed you and I am so thankful you are here. Our lives may never cross here on earth but I will definitely meet you one day in Heaven. You certainly are "more than". The fact that you grew up, grew through, the difficulties of being ostracized by other kids and adults, shows your pure strength of character. Your heart must be huge for that not to have made you bitter. You seem so sweet and obviously very brave to face the World with your head held high. Never give up on yourself. You are here to teach us all to be better humans.

All anyone has to do is listen to you for a minute to know that you are a quality human being. I teach special needs kids and you are sooo right- all everyone wants is just a chance to be listened to and loved. Thank you for reaching out and teaching others this important lesson!

Lizzie, you are blessed. Your Dad sounds like such a wonderful father. I was bullied in school. I am older, and life has taught me that bullies are insecure and unhappy in themselves. You have a beautiful soul. And you will be great at your new endeavor. Wishing you all the best!
