Sadly this is the last Equestria Girls movie but they are shorts and a series that take place after the movie, also the end credit song hope shines eternal lives in my head rent free.

Rarity's accent is called transatlantic or mid-Atlantic. It's called that because it's a hybrid of accents on both sides of the Atlantic, American and British. If you watch old movies, almost all of the actors speak with a similar accent to her. It's also important to note that nobody ever actually spoke like that naturally, it was an accent that was created solely to create the appearance of class and wealth. This fits with Rarity's character, who is desperate to appear sophisticated and sounds very different from every member of her family

Tara definitely provides a slightly different delivery for SciTwi... largely because she's a different character archetype than Pony Twilight. Much more reserved and introverted. Main reason why Scoot should make time for future EQG specials and shorts is that one of his fave parts is to critique the fits and the vast, VAST majority of Equestria Girls outfits show up outside of these 4 foundational films.

I love this one. Gloriosa Everfree has such a good design and we will stand for everfree slaps. Unpopular opinion but Legend of Everfree is actually my favorite of the 4. I love the Jekyll & Hyde subplot, the mystery and misdirection, the villain's motivation and resolution, and the songs. Another W from my favorite writers Joanna and Kristine. I decided to watch Kipo just because of them, and I wasn't disappointed. And yeah, there are more specials and shorts after the movies where they get to use their powers and deal with the consequences of Equestrian magic invading their world. Some of them even go to Equestria at one point. But sadly, EG never got an actual ending like FiM did. And Rarity just had to talk about a spa of all things, when Filthy Rich specifically said he was gonna bulldoze the camp to build a spa in its place. That's what sent Gloriosa full berserk. Just unlucky I guess.

PLEASE WATCH THE SHORTS, there are basically a mini movie!! There are a lot of them but the best ones in my opinion are Sunset's Backstage Pass, Spring Breakdown and ROLLERCOASTER OF FRIENDSHIP!! The Finale one in the Magic series (Dance Magic, Movie Magic) has a pretty cool crossover with Starlight >w> and Forgotten Friendship has got an interesting Trixie arc

Recommended watch order of the rest of the EQG series (like so he can see): Summertime Shorts (includes 5 songs) Dance Magic, Movie Magic, and Mirror Magic (middle of s7; these are 3 interconnected episode length specials) Forgotten Friendship (right before the MLP movie) Rollercoaster of Friendship (middle of s8) Spring Breakdown (after s8 finale but before s9 premiere) Sunset's Backstage Pass (middle of s9) Holidays Unwrapped (watch anytime since it's a Christmas special, but it is the last EQG animation and is a goodbye to the series) There's also the EQG Better Together shorts and the Choose Your Own Adventure shorts; these tie into the storylines of the aforementioned films but are still completely optional. Most importantly they get really unhinged and funny lol, they also include many great songs

I was wondering when you'd react to "Legend of Everfree" Scoot! It was very interesting to see the the characters in EQG both main and background get out of their usual high school setting and go to a summer camp, And it was also awesome that the girls all got new powers! I especially loved Gloriosa Daisy, She instantly became one of my new favorite EQG characters! However a lot people gave Timber Spruce the Flash Sentry treatment since he was yet another forced loved interest for Twilight only this time it was for human Twilight. But anyway, For me the best thing about "Legend of Everfree" was the songs! "We Will Stand Forever Free" and "Legend You Are Meant To Be" are two of my all time favorites!!!

The last full length EQG film. Fortunately, there’s still plenty more from EQG as either 50-minute specials or episodes of their own. Legend of Everfree is a change of pace to throw the cast into the woodland areas as opposed to being in the city all the time.

I don’t care what people say, this is one of my favorite Equestria Girls movies. The music honestly slaps. In fact, the villain song is my favorite Equestria Girls song by far. The first time I heard it I had full body chills. Also, sleep walking is very much real. My little brother use to sleep walk. It started when he was a little kid, and didn’t stop until he was in his teens. The first time it scared the crap out of me. We shared a room when we were little so the first time it happened it woke me up. He got out of his bed and walked to the kitchen. I followed and called out to him, but he didn’t respond. He opened the fridge and just stood there, mumbling something under his breath. I watched him for a good 10 minutes before I went and got our mom because I was freaked out. The next morning he had no recollection of any of it. He genuinely thought me and our mom were pulling a prank on him. Because of his sleep walking we had to put locks on things like the cabinets and fridge, because he would open them when he was sleep walking.

37:56 I think it’s the way the relationships and conversations differ between Equestria Girls and main MLP, because I always interpreted the mane 6 ponies as older teens/young adults later in the series, and Equestria girls keeps them in the high school range of ages, so 15-18. As ponies, the mane 6 are living without their parents, operating businesses, traveling the world, so they’re coded as young adults while still being family friendly enough and simplistic enough for young children to relate to, and I think their coding as adults is why the show initially got such a large teen/adult fan base in the Bronies. It didn’t talk down to kids, and had relatable characters, so every age could enjoy it. Equestria Girls being set up as a high school drama means they were trying to set up an aspirational ideal of what high school could be for younger kids, much like High School Musical did for my generation, but it also tried being relatable to that teen demographic that were already unlikely fans of the show, and that more specific age range meant it would appeal to less people, which is why the Equestria Girls series isn’t as beloved in the fandom as the main show is.

I like the movie, but yeah the romantic interest is just terrible. Regarding the sleepwalking. I have that, the funniest was when I got my clothes from the closet took them to the bathroom, threw them into the trash and got into the shower, woke up when the cold water from the shower hit me.

This is the last EQG Movie, but i'm expecting you to watch the rest of the mini movies too! Like Magical Movie Night, Forgotten Friendship, Sunset's Backstage Pass, Spring Breakdown, and Rollercoaster Friendship. Those are really worth to watch and feel like the main movies. For the series like Better Together, Holidays Unwrapped, etc, they're fun but just not as interesting as the others they're more like...slice of life

I actually really liked this movie because the main Villain had a very real motivation and was slowly overcome with the power to fix it. There were some nice redirects and twists as well. Also, the romance didn't feel forced since Sci-Twi and Spruce had a lot in common and were actually funny together (the end was wild though). The fund raiser was a really nice conclusion. It was also just fun to watch, even when nothing was happening. Celestia Luna stuff is always welcome and the idea of legacy / the camp gift was a pretty cool contrast to the main conflict. Imo the first movie was the worst, just because of how they handled Sunset and also the forced Flash x Twilight ship. Sunset was a good character, the jealous former pupil, but her redemption was so quick. She was defeated and then had a full 180 in personality, she went from an actually really mean bully to a bff in like 5 minutes. Which is weird because she wasn't even blinded by power until the end, it was her plan from the start to steal the crown and take over a world (maybe it switched from Earth to Equestria at the end) with the zombie army. Even Steven Universe wouldn't do a redemption that quick. She became one of my favourite MLP characters in the second movie though, also the specials are great (Sunset's backstage pass is amazing).

Contrary to popular opinion, Legend of Everfree is _probably_ my favorite of the four movies. It’s probably my biases since I watched this movie to completion before the other three, and this was also around the time I got into the fourth generation of MLP far more to begin with. I only have one criticism that actually hurts most of the movie: I agree that the moments Twilight has focusing on Timber during moments she’s not focused on Midnight feel pretty forced on, and I still remain indifferent about whether or not I found it cute or annoying. I don’t exactly hate Timber, but he’s just a tacked on love interest that I don’t feel much towards (kinda like Flash but a lot forced than before since of the four movies, we only see Timber here, and they would’ve immediately kissed had Gloriosa not cock-blocked them 😂 which is honestly sad, cause I would’ve like to see them kiss - he’s only present in a short and mentioned a couple of times in some other shorts, but that’s about it). This kinda emphasizes the frequent idea among the fandom that Sunset and Twilight should be together, and I agree. Like I said: despite it being my only problem with the movie, it does hinder a good amount of it. But outside of that, I don’t really have any other problems with the film that require a 15-minute rant. Good songs (“Midnight in Me” is my favorite and wish it was longer), Midnight returning was cool (even if I tend to think her presence in “Friendship Games” had more weight despite shorter screen time), always love Sunset’s growth as a character, Rarity’s constant fashion stuff is obviously annoying (but just skip to moments in the series where she has more traits and you won’t have that issue), the Crystal suits can definitely be considered tacky in most aspects (but they were one-and-dones that I’, indifferent to, so whatever), and as much as love the shorts and specials, I honestly wish we got a 5.

Actually there is some movies after all the series are done(after season 9) there is one after season 7 it's called magical movie night. The ones after season 9 are forgotten friendship, rollacoster of friendship, spring break down, sunsets backstage pass, and holidays unwrapped. Also I'm pretty sure there is like series of eg too (like two seasons)

I think that magic came from Chrysalis' throne or *something* from that explosion when the Changelings shared their love.

There are still some specials to watch! You don't get your wish of all of them from both worlds meeting, but someone from equestria does come over to eqg. And some of them from eqg go to equestria.

The only reason i watch the EQG Movies is for Sunset, The Element of Empathy is the best. Next to Pinkie and RD

There’s a whole bunch of hour-long specials the follow on which deal with the magic. After this movie, you should check the web just to see what comes next though.

Personally I'd highly recommend doing the EqG specials before finishing Friendship is Magic. FiM has a real ending, while EqG never got a finale, so it's the more emotionally satisfying way to do it.

If I could pick any of their powers I'd probably pick twilight bc she can pick things up (she kinda just has basic unicorn magic but it's still very cool) or sunset bc I would be able to know any truth just by touching the person

I highly recommend watching the specials when appropriate. The quality is a bit worse than the movies but for most of them it is about the quality of a typical FIM episode. It's up to you whether you decide to watch the shorts or not but the specials should be treated as EQG episodes that follow the movies. And yes, they do contain some fan service moments, although those moments tend to be a bit of a miss.

You should react to equstria girls spring break down but make sure you watch the movie before that or you will be missing something same for some future season of mlp

Out of the four EQG movies, this one is second for me. Friendship games has a lot of problems... Oh hey there's giant carnivorous plants all over the field, oh well, finish the race anyway it's not like they're interfering or blocking the track or anything... And really the first was the weakest of the movies. If Rainbow Rocks hadn't done as well as it did, I doubt they would have continued EQG. Although... they drop those interesting facts about Sapphires and Rubies early on, then proceed to call individual crystals geodes...
