As a former art teacher, I must say, I think this guy is taking the piss in order to draw attention to the hypocrisy of it all. Every wood work teacher I have worked with have all been extremely anti woke grumpy old men. I think he’s doing it to prove a point! (It would be bloody brilliant if I’m proven right)

The absolutely sickening part is the school is backing up the teacher! This is abuse, hands down terrible for these kids.

There was a reddit post from a student and someone made a video about it, that the teacher was under fire previously for being hyper masculine and derogatory and they think this is his response to that to get a pay out, forcing the school board to fire him and he can sue for discrimination..

Ive been following this case closely as I live pretty close to the area this is happening in, it's actually insane The school fully supports this and fears calling this person out on actual major safety violations in the workshop.

In Canada there is something called Human Rights Commission. So if he gets fired he gets paid and paid well. So school has to put up with him. They don't want this on their record, a human rights conviction.

The tale I've heard is that because he wasn't woke enough initally, his intentions are to push the woke school rules to the limit gaining notoriety and increasing his job security. If this is the case, I applaud this fella for his efforts and bringing anawre parents into the conversation and sending prospect students to respectable and reasonable schools. We'll have to wait for further information to understand what has really 'trans'pired.

I was in a different school area, Wellington County, just down the road from Halton. I have to say I'm not surprised by this at all. Over 40 years ago, in the 1979/80 school year our teacher was part of a cult. She tried to use the brain washing techniques she had learned in the cult on her Grade 6 class ..... us! She told us about being so into the cult that she "shit her pants." She gave us full and precise sex education that wasn't even meant for students much older than we were. When the parents finally found out what was going on, even though she tried hard to groom us and told us not to tell, there was a meeting at the school. She was fired and we were all promised that she would never teach again. Well, they just switched her over to the separate school board (Catholic Schools) and she continued to teach in our same town u til she retired without ever having to answer or pay for what she did. It makes me sick, especially as I feel I still suffer from some of the things she said to me. There are certain words I can't hear without being brought right back to that time. They didn't stand up to protect us in the 70s, it doesn't look as if anything has changed!

I work on car i got "big b00bs" hips n had hair down to my thighs for the longest time. My dad also taught me to work with power tools i.e table saw, grinder, jig saw, drill, ect.... I would NEVER EVER even dream of wearing this outfit or my hair like this around machinery i don't wanna imagine getting a shard or splinter at almost 60mph thru my skin or worse get my NATURAL hair caught in one n end up scalpLess. Supposedly he was about to be fired for spreading “toxic” masculine views on his shop class students, and before they fired him he decided to find the biggest pair of circus t*ts on the market and started wearing them to test whether he would be accepted. If that’s the case, this man is my new personal hero 😂. Nonetheless it’s shocking that he can still teach a shop class because his getup breaches safety standards (he should even tie his hair back). It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
