I saw this movie in both Luxe IMAX and Prasad's large screen, i felt Prasad's screen was much better but the 3d glasses idk why, they didn't blow me away. To the left bottom of the 3d glasses i was seeing something off, foggy or something and i even exchanged my glasses thrice, even after that i had the same problem, they were saying it's the design of the barco, i was disappointed a bit. Didn't have that problem in any IMAX.

No brother, there are many Marvel films which were shot entire film using Digital IMAX cameras like infinity war and End game and many more I couldn't remember ...... Phase 4 films won't invest much in shooting entire films with IMAX cameras

So it's possible to have a Higher AR than IMAX in non-IMAX theatres like Prasads Hyderabad. Prasads PCX screen isn't equipped with IMAX but the largest screen is capable of showing the movie in 1.85 AR intended by James Cameron because of the distribution in that AR. James Cameron played smartly by filming with IMAX cameras to get 1.9:1 AR for IMAX but also broadening it further to 1.85:1 AR for his intended vision ! So there's a possibility of watching the movie in an AR higher than IMAX if the theatre has got 1.85:1 print from Disney !! ----- Now about Avatar 2 in IMAX, Dual LASER : 2k + Better picture quality n contrast + (48fps + dropped resolution ) Single LASER : Consistent 4k + 48fps For better 3d -> Dual LASER having better contrast to compensate the black 3d glasses Dolby Cinema : Consistent 4k + Better picture quality and contrast at 1.85:1 intended AR ! ------ For India, there's no information whether there's any 4k 3d DCP being distributed. Theatre guys won't tell. 4k 2d DCP being given to theatres is a possibility though.

@@ArmaYT for sure Logix, but if you see price difference and movie is not that big visually, then dlf is also really good choice (for movies like Mission Impossible..). But for movies like Avatar best is Logix anyday

enough of imax.. imax are gone days new trend and no.1 preference in western countries at present are dolby cinema.. they are mix of dolby vision (best clarity in world at present) + dolby atmos.. but rajamouli in interview said their team only should come to india and build such theaters from scratch..local individuals cant build..

Yeah bro, no problem. I wore those Dolby 3d glasses over my spectacles comfortably. I felt that they are more comfortable than regular polarised 3d glasses

@@ravibabu4776 Forget Bangalore imaxes even Imax with Laser in Delhi and Mumbai are inferior to Prasads large screen especially for Avatar as it is being screen with 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The prasads large screen uses the same Bacro DP4K-60L projectors which are used in imax with Laser. It's just that prasads doesn't have Imax branding. Also prasads has 2 of these projectors(dual laser) whereas imax with Laser screens in India have only one.

@@Manoj-op4xi IMAX projectors in India has dual projectors son! I've seen with my own eyes that IMAX Dome at Wadala and IMAX with LASER at PVR Lower Parel in Mumbai has dual projector lenses. Dual projection is nothing new.

@@sureshmakwana8709 yeah, it happened for the first time because avatar is not exclusively imax certified. It was released as an open matte format. So Disney released 1.85:1 prints for non imax theaters which are capable of screening.
