Is Mae changing the show weirdly? I feel like if its just her and harper aruging its gonna get old over spencer and family and blah blah blah. Also, they can alwyas do the "extended episode" thing so they can extend the episode by like 2 to 3 minutes for a cliffhanger(what a lot of shows do in finales)

I like the fact jennette mccurdy as Sam is acknowledged, but I was not happy how they explain her absence bc the last place we saw Sam was in Los Angeles in the show Sam and Cat. Like it made me wonder the explanation "Sam being in a biker gang" to happen before Sam and cat or after. Whether or not knowing by Carly saying that means is where Carly last saw her or just heard from her over the phone. I just wished that it was more detailed based on who Sam last interacted with also considering the fact Cat in Sam and Cat is arrested, whereas the original audience knows the last interaction of Carly, Sam, and Spencer together is in the icarly finale. It didn't make sense that Carly says she last saw Sam in college, bc she was supposed to be in Italy when she was what last of high school and college. Unless where we are supposed to imply Is that Sam visited her in Italy??? Where I did take Gibby out of that having to do the last time she interacted w him was in the #superpsycho episode of Sam and cat and the last of Sam and Freddie in #thekillertunajumpjadefreddierobbie. So I was disappointed on the explanation of Sam as the character and still feel lost about her appearances in the times she's been mentioned.

@@imdva he didnt need to be made a main cast member in the later seasons, he was fine as a reoccurring character his best moment def his fight with Nora. Most of his stupidity later on in the last seasons bordered on newer Patrick Star and Cosmo levels (typical Nickelodeon lol) though his trait of saying GIBBAAY was always amusing. If he does come back how will his brand of comedy/stupidity work again if you will notice a lot of the slapstick from the OG is gone , I'm not against him returning but just as a guest character.

It really shows just how well Nathan Kress knows the show, he grew up on it, was a main character on it and knows the quirks of each character

Ngl I have the opposite opinion ....yeah some parts were very nostalgic but I personally think this is one of the weakest episode in the bunch..

I think it’s a thing sitcom thing and they won’t touch up on it again. the directors just happen to be putting a lot of attention in their work and adding small details of the world being alive outside of our characters. They’ve done stuff like that since the ordinal iCarly

Honestly, I don't see their relationship ending. I like their chemistry and Maeve has a sort of down-to-earth weirdness that balances Spencer's much less down-to-earth weirdness

U guys noticed how they've had miscommunications with the faking and tea spilling things they're probably gonna keep on doing this with each other until they have a big one that end s things with them

Considering Maeve really seemed to be into Spencer's Plan B where they run away to Honduras and start a new life there, I actually can't see them breaking up soon.

I predict (and also very excited if) a dynamic like honeymoon->tension->conflict->resolving conflict-> resolution with their wedding! Imagine how interesting it would be to see a married Spencer after all those years of weird relationships he had. Oh and of course, since Spencer is rich they will run away somewhere for a crazy adventure

That's what I was wondering (or if she got that car during her time in Italy since they have cars like that around Italy). I do hope they delve into the backstory behind Carly and Spencer's mother at some point since it was brought up in the first episode.

i thought the same thing. lowkey i think the storyline could’ve been inspired by/copied from an episode of the sitcom Young & Hungry, but in that show the car actually *was* Gabi’s late mother’s, so it’d look too similar if Carly’s car also turned out to have been her mom’s.

Even some of the rougher, earlier episodes were much better than what modern Nick is putting out.

The original was a long time ago, tho. He still has some smartness but he’ll never be at that level again because of the trials and tribulations he’s faced in life.

Freddie is still smart, he's still a nerd. he's just not street smart & awkward - that's always been his character. he's a little depressed rn tho, with all he's been through

They need to make him more of a geek again. The only time he’s been around specialty tech is the tech support job in iMLM, when he was the iCarly tech crew in the original show. The new incarnation of the webshow doesn’t even use a special camera anymore, it’s a camera phone.

Mr hokage I get that, but it gives Freddie even less to do in the webshow making process. Compare the new studio to the old. There’s no TV screen, no green screen, no random dancing lights etc, the kind of stuff Freddie would have set up and operate behind the camera during the show. Look how long it’s taken to get a car prop in.

I’m actually really happy to see that. He had really good chemistry with Carly, and Wes seems like he’d be a nice addition to the cast. I hope he and Maeve stick around.

I could imagine the posts/headlines saying something along the lines of "Influencer caught sleeping standing up in a taco costume!" and it goes viral 😂 I think it's very unlikely, but it would be interesting if the infamous nuclear power generator Carly broadcasted on iCarly during the original show was brought up here and it might come back to bite her in the butt because she did help a Top 10 FBI Most Wanted criminal build that generator and she lied to a police officer when she was asked if she knew anything about that guy or their involvement with his crimes. Could that broadcast resurface and Carly gets arrested or something? 😂

Well, the fortune teller guy had an aneurysm and died in the birthday episode, but we didn’t get any further developments on how Spencer spilled the beans about him dying to Carly.

I think they will tease us with Creddie in the ending. It's the ending to a sitcom season so it has to get some weight. Though it was also the first season and usually they don't know if they are going to get a second one so it might be a more self contained ending that could both bring closure and leave things open.
