Really good analysis. I had considered Ice Age as just a nostalgic film that I'd probably hate if I revisited it. But this video really does shine light on its great group dynamic. The 'straight guy, funny guy' comedy of Manny/Diego against Sid is a little tiresome, but it's good that Sid does have some wit and intelligence about him other than being a straight-up idiot. Also, for a kids movie, it's pretty dark that Diego is the one that chases the mother off the cliff to her death 😯Especially considering he's part of the franchise's popular trio, haha
