I had this idea in my mind for a while and at last - built it. The final result came out awesome. And even better than I was seeing in my mind. I hope you'll enjoy to watch this build, or even this video will inspire you to make something similar.
Some used parts:
Power bank: bit.ly/32NFVTh
5V LED: bit.ly/2Y2IpOQ

Can I use the little board in the battery bank as the charging port by itself for a project and leave the USB pins free of any leads? Thanks in advance!

GREAT Video, my Friend ! Here is an idea for the '2.0' version. Use Arduino NANO and some WS2812B LED Strip. And, to top it all off, (version 2.5), Wireless Charging, using an induction charger from our most trusted Far-Eastern friends. This could he a GREAT project, don't you think ? Thank you for taking this comment most constructively. Have a nice day!

all that for a lamp?
@oncledan282
@oncledan282 4 жыл бұрын
@@surajmodi8065 .. And why not ?? You should see what I'm building "just to see the weather" as I just could look outside my window. The point is NOT to make it useful, but just the pleasure to make it and its self satisfaction. But if you have four thumbs, I understand your point. Just go to your local Walmart and I'll bet you can buy one for under 5$ .. and just plug it. I can't guaranty you'll have the same satisfaction, but you'll have a lamp .. just a lamp, like everybody has, not a unique piece of conversation. Have a nice day, and good shopping !

@@oncledan282 Yeah .. there is satisfaction in building things and I do so myself. I just wanted to say that putting arduino and wireless charging for a cube which is fixed and cannot be solved is kinda waste of resources and energy . Its like putting a V12 engine inside a car which is fixed to the ground and won't even run. No hard feelings brother. Keep it up. P.S. - I am not from U.S and we dont have walmart here. :)

@@surajmodi8065 Hi again, Suraj. No hard feelings done ! Don't worry about offending me. I'm not offended by a few words ! Hahaha ! However, I fully understand your point, don't get mw wrong. Nonetheless, extensive projects are very often not worth all the material and the effort one is ready to put to realize it. Like I told you, I've spent over 75$ on a Wireless Weather Station .. not counting a few hundreds of hard worked hours on this one. A local store sells the same thing for 50$ .. with inside and outside probes. I only have the outside probe. BUT .. it doesn't have graphic representation of the last 4 days .. and it does not store all 3 essential parameters (Temperature, Humidity and Pressure) for as long as the probe was connected and running. I does not need the display to run. I can upload last 4 days of data and Voilà ! I was just cutting an acrylic case for my photocell that will power the probe, with my Muse Laser cutter. Another 40$ was added just there (material (acrylic, photocells) and Laser time. Definitely not worth all the effort. Hahaha! But hey! I'VE BUITL IT and it was FUN to build. Could I have made it 'plug-in' to an outlet? Sure! And for only 1$. But I like the photocell idea, so ... Same goes with our Host's Rubik Cube lamp. And while we're at it, why not add a wireless camera to it, with an ESP32 CAM Module ? .. that would connect to your portable phone if motion is detected ! If it fits. And if it doesn't, make a bigger cube! Hahaha! It could be an interesting piece of conversation, wouldn't it ? With modern technology, its low cost and its miniaturisation, SKY is the limit on what one can do, nowadays. This being said, I wish you a great end of day, and take care, my Friend !

@@surajmodi8065 Competitive cubers can supposedly just look at a RC and tell whether someone has taken it apart and put it together randomly, making it impossible to solve.

@@surajmodi8065 It doesn't matter that it can't physically be solved. I was curious if any cuber who happened along could tell me if it was in a solvable state.

Hi there, this cube is not solvable. There are many reasons why this is the case but one of the easiest observable examples is that you can see a blue/red/white corner in the front of the end-card shot, however if you check back in the video you can see that red and white are actually on opposite sides of the cube.
