I love the idea of giving a classic car like these Mini's a new lease on life by way of EV conversion. I've seen some great examples of EV conversion done on classic Volkswagen Beetles and Type 2s as well

You are misreading Mary Barra's boast of largest EV manufacturer by 2025. She means largest unionised manufacturer in the US.

There is a theory to suggest that a battery made from recycled refined materials actually performs better than one made from virgin refined materials, purely for the reason that the original material refinement is less refined than recycled materials. IIRC there were tests done a couple of years back which supported this theory. The thing is, battery materials, such as Lithium, Nickel, Iron and Others, can be recycled endlessly. There will always be wastage, which should be minimal, so once capacity is reached, there will be mining required only to top up. This level won't be reached for many years, probably a few decades, but every reused and recycled battery is a step in the right direction. Nice chat. Make them longer. Oh, and inform people to pause a video when you're instructing them to go get a coffee. Some people will go get a beverage, come back and find there's only a few minutes left [yes, really I have seen this happen several times - I've had to pause videos while the person went away for the coffee]. It's the old TV style viewers who continually don't realise that you can pause practically anything these days. They'll learn if you remind them.
