The two kinds of people I hate most on the road: street racers, and hit-and-run drivers. This axxhole is both rolled into one. I want more than being caught. In fact, I don't mind if they aren't caught... as long as they receive some greater-than comeuppance.

@Nigel James Really, if you feel nostalgia, there's any number of towns in New England you could visit during early winter for a similar experience. Bonus is many have British names like Portsmouth, Dover, and Newcastle.

There’s a longer clip showing a police vehicle with lights on passing him up when it’s clear but the cammer doesn’t slow down at all, even when going into the wall snow.

Except that judging by the speed that the cammer is going relative to other traffic, the fact he was keeping pace with the white car, and also the fact that his V8 appeared to be in a lower gear at higher revs, I suspect he was racing the white car, which would have been what caused the crash in the first place.

4:54 wasnt an idiot that was filmed last Sunday in Leckhampton Cheltenham England. It wasnt all there fault it came down very quick and was pretty much uncrolable to drive in.

@@otterlyamazing2605 winter tyres could have prevented that situation for many drivers. here in germany (we also don't have so much snow usually) it's a must to wear them in winter. and i don't mean snow chains. just tyres with a deeper profile that gives the car more grip.

I normally drive with 50-75% worn tyres come snowfall, and never crashed in the snow (I've lived in countryside hilly areas, that hardly get gritted all my life) it's just usage of common sense - I know of a fair few hills in the area that become no go areas when it snows.

@@TheKeeeks97 it's not ilegal to not fit winter tyres in the uk. So many people don't because we don't get snow in winter that often. It usually goes away in the same day but it just kept comeing and it only just went away last night.

It was already away when I walked to the bus stop in the morning but I couln't go to work cause all bus services for this day were cancelled "due to the snow". Although it was already gone in the morning. :D

I knew that driver was gonna take off. If I was the driver recording I would've placed myself in the best spot to get the plates before they took off, if not then I would've followed them until I did.

That amount of snowfall in southern England occurs about once in a decade, so drivers just run summer tyres all year as winter tyres aren't worth the expense when temperatures rarely go below 5C
