My "favorite" example of Tarzanyness was during one of the tribals where Colton was saying racist shit to Bill and Tarzan angrily exclaimed that we should never talk about race, because racism is over because Obama is president.

Took a 6-1 blowout for Richard and made it a 4-3 squeaker. Gervase and Richard had an agreement to vote for each other that I think Gervase intended to keep it. And Colleen was voting for Richard going in. She’s speech was so nasty and unwarranted Gervase and Colleen changed their votes out of spite and sympathy respectively. Sure ultimately got what she wanted making Kelly lose by one vote. But not in the way she intended.

In all fairness to Zoe, she was a professional fisher from Maine. Maine only has 2 CBS stations. One in Portland and one in Bangor. She probably never watched Survivor and didn't know she was to hold up her votes to the camera.

I think they should go back to doing ftc like this. Where everyone takes turns saying what they want to say. I get the whole "open-forum" setup, and it's nice that people can add things in as they occur to them.. but I liked it when every single juror had a moment completely to themselves where they can say whatever they want like idk I liked it when we got whole little speeches from the jurors.

I don't care what anyone says.. I still think they should go back to the old seasons and show us a bunch of the unused footage. I said this during quarantine (when it really would've made sense, since they could've done that in lieu of a new season, that way we wouldn't have had to wait so long for 41, it would've held us over anyway lol) but I still stand by it. Especially for players like Zoey who were interesting but not necessarily in a good way (or not in a way production was hoping for, at least). Idk I just think it would be cool to get to know the old players all over again in a new way. Surely they have plenty of interesting footage they could show. Filming 39 days and condensing it into 13-14 42-minute episodes.. there has to be tons of funny/dramatic/interesting moments they had to cut simply bc they can't show everything. Idk.. just an idea lol idk that anyone else would even care to watch something like that lol but I definitely would

Well they had to do that to tone down the grandstanding from people making half Murphy speeches. Also to prevent people asking cringe questions like “I want you to apologize to me”

The new format gives everyone in the finals a greater chance of winning by being able to explain their mindset and game play vs you have to answer the questions asked and pretty much nothing more.

@@freddytang2128 Fair point, but in the old format, every juror gets a fair shot at speaking. With the new format, the more extroverted jurors are likely to speak over everyone else.

@@aleczavala5010 And also, statistically, dudes (and especially white dudes) speak far more than women and PoC in public forum settings ALWAYS - whether it be a college classroom or a corporate board room. Of course this applies to Survivor as well, which is why allowing everyone to talk one at a time is a better method.
