I agree, Brett’s question was quite clever as it was his way to figure out how much Mick actually knew about Brett. I’m sure that if he asked Natalie the same question she would’ve been able to give a better answer as her social game was apparently pretty good.

Kamila Mitchell lmfaooo nah, I’m right. I watched that season 3 times to fully understand the jurors anger. Maybe I see it from a different lense... considering lol. But yeah the only thing that made sense what that they were all Black and the jurors were pressed because they got beat at “their own game”

I liked it when they asked the questions instead of the open discussion because I think it gives everyone at least a couple more minutes of screen time even the invisible players because I notice the invisible players now are still invisible in the final tribal council

It's an open forum. Jeff presents each element of the game (outplay outwit outlast) and everyone discusses how the final 3 performed in them.

@@TheAdamNW I'd disagree with it being an open discussion, because more often than not, it's the 2-3 loudest voices on the jury that dominate that final tribal, while the quieter people who also have something to say don't get to give their point of view, which is my main gripe with the current FTC format

I was rewatching Micronesia last year and when Jeff said “Natalie you’re up” at final tribal, I was just like “oh gosh!” Just remembering what was coming, Lol And You know they’re weird questions when they cut to Jeff’s face😂

I don't mind the new FTC format as much as most people here in the comments, but I do prefer the original format even if it was getting stale. We're just never gonna get those spine chilling moments like Trish grilling Tony in an open format, for example

I agree. I think the jury needs to be able to ask whatever they want. The new format allows the final 3 to just repeat, repeat, repeat the same gameplay, the same answers. All 3 tribe members mimic each other's answer. Let the jury have their moment. JMO. Still love Survivor.

the old jury system is probably worse for actually figuring out who the jurors want to vote for, but much better for entertainment, and much less likely to lead to all jurors basing their vote on the same criteria and having landslides.

Lisi was rude to Dreamz and Cassandra because allegedly they had both made several comments around Lisi, Edgardo and Alex speaking to one another in Spaish, Cassandra aparently being quite rude and racist about it.

Wouldn’t surprise if that was her intention. However, although it wasn’t shown on screen, Cassandra told Lisi and Alex not to speak Spanish around camp which is pretty racist in itself.

People focus too much on the bizarreness of Natalie’s question to Parvati, but I really like her question to Amanda. You know she’s a fan of the show, because only a fan can criticize a supposed favourite for their lack of substance.

I just finished rewatching Africa and yeah Toms question was just insane. I actually liked Brandon on the show because I thought he was one of the few people in those early seasons actually playing a strategic game. Just didn't make the big move to flip against Lex when he should have

@@funkycrawler619 Casting no, They casted based of society which has predominantly Caucasians and they filled in minorities to fit the ratio close to what you'd see in a USA society. Editing, I've never seen them edit someone based off race if you are major part of the story then you'll get confessionals and be a major character for the show.

@@Drake_Dimes There's definitely been racism controversies on the show, though it doesn't always make it on the air. It was reported in one of the recent seasons that there was some kind of a racism controversy/misunderstanding on one of the tribes. We know who the wronged person was, but everyone refuses to name the other party. The 'wronged' person basically said "he/she learned their lesson" when asked about it.

Probably because Brandon was a worse overall player...he had a chance to change the game up by going with Kelly and the rest of the former Samburu members to vote Lex out, but he couldn't get past his dislike of Frank long enough to suck it up and vote with Frank for just one tribal

Fiji was the epitome of bitter. They were all so jealous that they didn't get to the end. Edit: omg it actually took my ignorant ass a second to realize.. I just chalked it up to them being a mostly shitty cast as the reason for the Jury being shitty. I do agree that Earl was a chill totally likeable guy, so them giving him crap was a little unexpected.

Was the fiji/lisi section implying that the jury was particularly harsh to the final 3 due to some implicit racial bias that made it difficult to empathize and respect their games and strategy? Because I totally agree

@@JAKEBB diversity doesn't mean everybody is treated the same. It can help, but it doesn't prevent racial bias by itself
