Fierce 7 PRC 531 Yards

Trying out the @fierce_firearms #carbonrage at 531 yards checking bullet speed and looks like that and the @vortex.canada FuryHD5000ab range finding binoculators with ballistic calculator are spot on. Very excited about this rifle. #7prc #531yards #targetshooting #rangeday #vortexnation

Just my current opinion but the 7PRC is pretty much the ultimate cartridge. I have one with a Hart barrel that shoots the Hornady match ammo 1/4 MOA. Furthest I can shoot on my dad's property is 600 yards but haven't had the chance with it yet. I did with my 6.5 PRC. I've got three 7PRCs in the works. One is a PRS with an MDT chassis system from BadRock rifles. #2 is a Defiance anTi action, #5 fluted Brux barrel, McMillan stock, TT Diamond trigger at 1 pound, Christensen Arms BDL style bottom metal. #3 is a Lone Peak Arms Razor Ti, #5 cut-rifled Benchmark barrel, Hawkins M5 Hunter DBM, TT Diamond trigger at 1 pound and an AG Composite stock. I've spent WAAAAY too much money this year.

I am with you on that. My other rifles are .308s and one 5.56 NATO and one 12 ga/ But the performance of 7 PRC is so good. And less recoil impulse than a .300 Win Mag or .300 PRC. So, I have one and put it in a chassis.

@@ronws2007 Nice. I got one back so far, the Brux barreled Defiance. Took it to the range with 3 boxes of factory ammo, Hornady 180 ELDM match, Hornady 175 ELDX, and Federal with the Hornady ELDX 175 bullet. I shot the match ammo first, 1" group, 3 shots. Then the Hornady ELDX, just under1/2" group, 3 shots, then the Federal, 1/2" group. Went back to the match ammo and it did another 1" group. Brought the rifle home, pushed wet patches through it until white, borescoped it and it was 99% to bare metal. Love my Brux barrels. Also shot my new Tikka 300WSM and new Tikka 300WM while there. The WM is printing 1/2" groups with factory Norma 180 Bondstrike, 3/4" groups with factory Barnes 180 TTSX, and 3/4" with factory Norma Whitetail 150 grain bullets. The WSM has a longer throat to seat bullets out further so all of those are hand loads. I've found 2 good ones so far, 180 Nosler AB over StaBALL 6.5 new Norma brass, and 168 Barnes TTSX over IMR4350, also norma brass and 215 match primers

@@derekmcmurry I have seen a few guys do great things with .300 WSM. Such as the channel Rogee Productions in New Zealand. They hunt sheep and and other ungulates with that round.

Wow! This is my dream rifle! I just bought a SAKO S20 Hunter in 6.5 PRC and I love it. However I would love to have a Fierce one day set up exactly like yours is! Exceptional rifle and nice video-thanks for sharing.

@@north4961 Nice! Glad you are enjoying your SAKO S20 Hunter! I can tell you that I’ve got several bolt action rifles (including Browning X-Bolts, SAKO A7’s, Remington 700 Sendero, & Winchester M70) and I can tell you that my SAKO S20 Hunter is the most accurate rifle in my gun safe. I’ve adjusted the trigger travel and weight to less than 2lbs and I absolutely LOVE it!

Ok I was just wondering, Hornady bullets are junk what are you hoping for bullet wise to come out. I’m going to try Berger 180 vld asap when I get some dies.

What would u say the felt recoil is like with the brake on there would it be equal to say a 6.5 creedmoor with no brake or say a 270 win? Thanks Mike

Well I like it bolt is stickier than I like for some reason hangs up midpoint when mag is in for the price should be smooth as butter
