Some islamic teachers are very strict and stuff but that’s because they dont want people to water down islam and take it lightly . Ustad nauman and mufti menk and another teacher bilal assed are soft spoken and more approachable for people getting to know islam. Matter of fact, islam tells us to be soft spoken . Hope this helps

I was doing my internship last week and after four days of working, I got terminated due to unforeseen circumstances. I said that this is Allah's plan and put on a smile whatnot. But after a few days of thinking, and looking for another job, I was devastated and questioned back my faith which lead to even more frustrating situation.... I just hope I can be at peace with my faith. Thank you for this.

Don't blame your faith. Trust Allah. Allah knows what you do not know. Perhaps you were saved from something you didn't see coming. We are meant to struggle so we can develop experience and wisdom InshaAllah. Chasing Dunya will always break our heart in some way. Seek Allah's guidance. ✌️

I could totally relate to the part when he said we been told in youth “Allah isn’t going to forgive you”. Being taught about Islam in the worst way possible only to learn in my 40s how beautiful the religion actually is after running away from religion for years.

Trust Allah when you don’t understand the plan of Allah. Outcome may not be exactly what we expect it to be but that’s the test to see if we have true faith. I know it is difficult to accept sometimes but Allah is the Malik and we are the slaves. We are in position to make demands to begin with

Much needed lecture, Jazakallah khair ustad Nauman Ali. Going through a difficult time, my parents are searching for a spouse since one and a half year.i always believe d Allah ta'ala has a perfect plan for me. Met a few people and and my hopes are all down. It's not like I have the fear of not getting married rather it's like ending up with a wrong person. I beleive this is the hardest part of my life. Sometimes I also think may be I am stuck because of the mistakes but this lecture just refreshed my imaan. May Allah ta'ala ease out hardships and strengthen our imaan.

I realized something, when I was a child my parents used to abused me, humiliated me constantly. And sadly they 'looked' like good Muslims, like they've been praying since they were young and they pay attention to their clothes etc. So especially my dad made me think that Allah and his authority as rather negative or as the punisher since I thought they are good Muslims so their owners must be like them. Even though I've been trying to be a good Muslim and try not to be like my parents time to time I find myself to think Allah as this way but unvoluntary. I don't know how to change my subconcious mind. I'm just trying to remind myself that Allah is Rahman and not the ugly authority I assocciate with my parents' abuse.

Without peace of mind, which only God can give, we have nothing...with peace of mind we have everything. Spiritual health is our true wealth. A strong, habitual prayer life protects us from a lot of nonsense in this life, much of which is often self-caused. But even when disaster strikes by God's permissive will, deep down we know we'll still be okay. God doesn't necessarily protect us from all misfortune...in fact misfortune in this life is sure to come...but when it comes we know we'll be okay because God is still there with us as long as we trust God.
