Cherry tomato galette
Ingredients:
300g Cherry tomatoes (2 cups)
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Dijon mustard
150g (1 1/4 cup) flour
110g butter ~1/2 cup cubed, frozen
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
40-50ml cold water
- keep in the fridge for one hour
Filling:
200g quark/ cream cheese (~ 1 cup)
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp fresh sliced basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Pinch of Cayenne powder
eggwash:
1 egg
some water
Garnish:
Grated cheese ( I used Gouda cheese, better parmesan cheese)
- baking pan.
tips: use baking paper
- Bake at 200°C/400°F for 30-35 minutes
