My favorite new-ish bit is Jacob's inquisitive "...speak on that?" whenever someone (usually Julia) says something nigh-incomprehensible, basically daring them to justify themself. It's very good and I feel like he's been doing it more often.

I'm imagining Death is real into Mike Patton's "Adult Themes For Voice." I don't think he only listens to inaccessible music though. When Death wants to relax on the weekend, he's def chilling to some Tardigrade Inferno, maybe "Arrival of a Train" or "Ringmaster Has To Die."

Nobody gonna mention how impressive it is that Death is check-mating with a knight. One of the most difficult pieces to check-mate with. Truly an extremely deep lore nugget from Nathan about how much the person playing against Death is out of their depth.

Which is especially impressive considering that Terry Pratchett says that knights are the pieces that Death struggles with the most. He’s improved so much! I’m so proud of him.

@@wilderwisdom That's the original version. It's from the days of bare knuckle boxing. The teeth one is "By the skin of my teeth" which is from the Bible. The specific phrase was "My bone cleaved to my skin and to my flesh, but I am escaped by the skin of my teeth."

Karina's render is so good!! She painted an entire shadow the hedgehog in an already complex scene, basically doing two drawings in one and both of them look really good. This is why we should really appreciate how far Nathan has grown

My full body cringe when whatever they were reading called Maria Shadow’s girlfriend. FOR CONTEXT: Maria was Eggman’s cousin. She was a sick 12yr old girl who’s grandfather Gerald created Shadow and they were raised as siblings. She was shot while protecting Shadow from a government soldier.

@@barghest94 I never lived there unfort, but I grew in Bama up going to national parks (okeefenokee, Everglades, etc.) so I’ve got a deep nostalgic fueled love of the region. And I know it’s ’normal’ but I still delight every time I see a possum fall off a log or an alligator stop and grumble for a bit in a sunny spot. Nature rocks And it fit the brief! It is hyper specific and kinda odd

it's mainly because most of the people who who part of the "feral boys" and even others in the greater server their from have turned out to be assholes and abusers. Also ngl that fandom was toxic as all hell well before most of that info even came out.

@@RuteL the TRENCHES. the TWITTER. Basically, when you put a bunch of teenagers that believe they're morally correct on twitter it's quite easy to make drama. It doesn't really seem like they're friends anymore either (especially not with the guy with labor violations), so the "flashback" stuff is for actual flashbacks to when they hung out. Personally, it's bad because I just can't stand Karl
