Not really applicable in this case because he buys things to use as youtube content, which takes up his time to do, which earns income. Filling a hole in your back yard, not so much. Even so, I agree, especially with a small yard then all the more important to be able to use all of it and all the more likely you might step in that hole and twist your angle, or someone else's ankle.

Yeah I mean that would get you a year of lawn care but now you’ve lost 100% of that money guaranteed. And then on top of that no one really bats an eye when people spend that much on a traditional mower. Or you could get both and get one of these, and still have a mower to show for it next season. Really doesn’t seem that bad whatsoever if you have the right yard. Give it like 5 years there will probably be similar mowers going for 1k

This is a cool product. It definitely wouldn't be good for total cleanup, it's more of a lawn maintainer. Still need a lawnmower, and a weedwacker. Major thing in my situation is I wouldn't want it going in my front yard because someone walking by might kick it or take it. So it's really only for fenced in areas, or only when I'm watching it. But totally useable if you had a fenced in large backyard with few obstructions and obstacles. I'd like to see it on an incline

It is a lawn mower. Since the beginning of the summer, I only used the Luba to mow the lawn and not my rider and my lawn never ever looked so great before! But you are correct, I still need my weedwhacker to get do some edge work done but I needed that when I use my rider as well... and now that the leaves are falling, I need to use my rider with baggers to pick up the leaves. BTW, the Luba is a very solid mower with some serious torque power and each wheel has its own motor... serious inclines in the yard like I have in my backyard is no problem for the Luba! It's a beast! One of my dogs is a digger and I have some big pot-holes in my backyard... Luba has no issues going around and through those holes!

9:05 that's part of why you're meant to run robot mowers every (other) day, they don't do well with tall grass and they never have full coverage for each run. They're made to do most of it in a pass, so that if you run it a few times per week it keeps your grass short the whole time instead of letting it build and then mowing it like you would do yourself.

It would be great if you could just "walk" your yard to map the perimeter and no-go zones - i.e., use an app on your cell phone to mark the areas to be cut, then download the map to the mower. It would be much quicker then driving the mower manually, and could produce a more precise map (for example, versus trying to pivot the mower around a circle).

$5-$50 to fill that "ankle-breaker" with sand. I'm not an expert, but I wouldn't use organic soil, i would use sand, because organic soil will break down over time, while inert sand will always be inert sand. Also, if you use peat moss or something else like this instead, it could just blow away when it get really dry and windy. So i think Sand would be the best option. You can always put some soil on top or mix in some soil if you wanted or dig it up around the area and mix it with sand + soil. I suppose you could also use Top Soil and just sit out all the sticks/mulch/plastic/metal. Or maybe add rocks, I don't know. Just some ideas.

I'd love a review of the ankle snapper 5000. Sounds like a solid investment.

Someone hasn't seen "Maximum Overdrive!" 🤣 "It has a mind of its own" lol. I would've liked to have seen a double grid though, see if 2x over the taller grass gets the cut you want. Still, though, very cool.

Really want to see a video where he either fills in the hole, or just completely re levels his lawn. Personally i dont know how people put up with yards that are treacherous like that especially in a forever home.

As a grown man that loves to cut the grass I really see these robot mowers as my enemy! lol I mow my yard once a week in the summer and it takes me around 4-5 hours (5-6 acres) and I love every hour!

Tyler must be sponsored by them. There’s no way he thinks this is better than a traditional lawnmower. He dogs everything else but this is like a game changer to him
