THANK YOU! I was a massive FNAF fan for most of my life and this movie was all I needed, I don't care about what the critics nor the general audience. This movie felt like it was made for people like us who grew up with the games, the let's plays and the Matpat theories

My biggest complaint is that Freddy doesn't sing the Torreador March ONCE. Not even ONCE. Not even when the power cuts during the climax when they defeat Afton.

Movie wasn't that bad. People had way too high expectations.

Man this is truly a film you have to watch in cinemas, because its really franchises like Fnaf that can get many people in the theatres to clap at the beginning & the end of the film and react to all the noticeable references during the film (first-hand experience, went to see the Fnaf movie on the 27th).

Ive gone to see it 3 times already just to really get every detail I could and to see my friends reactions to seeing the big moments for the first time. I have to say, I still got goosebumps at some of the scenes even on the 3rd watch. Goated movie.

I hate how few views these are getting now, hope things get better soon.

I'm a die hard FNAF fan and while i loved the movie, there are a few things i have to express my thoughts on. The first game provided the story and lore of FNAF through newspaper articles seen on the walls of the Pizzeria. That was a complete missed opportunity for the film and could of easily cut down 1/4 of the exposition. Plus there was a full hours worth of extra footage not used that may have helped the film in some areas. But still, the movie still is being too critical for a movie not being focused as a horror film and more so a dedication to the fans and history. The PG rating held it back a bit but the movie was still every much enjoyable.

If I didn't know anything about the lore it'd be a bit confusing, but still pretty good. Knowing a lot about the lore, there were a few problems but overall it was great. I'd say for a video game movie it was great.

I think Freddy should've been the one to kill the nightguard before Mike. I feel like that would give him at least a little bit more of a role in the movie

There will never be a greater moment than in the middle of this really tense sequence the main villain comes out and hits us with a senator armstrong type line so powerful like "First I kill your brother, now I kill you. Symmetry my friend!". I haven't laughed that hard at a horror movie than Jason X.

All of the issues with Freddy Fazbear's lack of action would be solved if the brown shirt kid from the dream sequences is Freddy's spirit, not Golden Freddy's. That's all I'm saying.

I think the movie was really mid, all the main characters don't have a personality. Mike was irratic and unstable? yeah, what was his hobbies and interest tho? Did we learn if he was a shy kid growing up? The quote on quote "Lore" was explained in like 10 minutes? or could be but it was extended for waaaaay tooo long. We didn't have anything for what? Three nights? Abby was just, a naive kid? She was closed off but why? Sure we could take the connection of her and her lost brother but man do we not get any actual reasoning behind it. I mean I think they said their parents are dead? But like the fact I don't remember clearly shows that it should've took more time to shed light on. Vanessa had no personality until near the end maybe? A lot of plot holes if you think about it for more than 10 minutes. I know we aren't supposed to look too much and yeah you said you think it was a fun movie which to it's credit it was, for the fnaf fans. And if it was just for the fnaf fans then he should've lean harder. But instead we got a semi-weird adaption with not much horror and really rough cuts of content. I mean when did we see balloon boy? Pretty forced right? I'm just slightly disappointed because their core audience was non-existent and they spread themselves too thin. After like 7 years? I was hoping it'd be better especially since Scott was working so close with it yknow? Sure it was fun to pick out references and sure it was very imaginative with it's use of source material but they totally flubbed on how to make it more interesting and expansive. My brother told me when Michael was saying "It's YOUR fault" to vanessa during the confrontation thing that he was thinking that Afton was going to expose that vanessa led him to kill the first time to cover something up. Wouldn't that have been an interesting idea? What if vanessa was the one making him kill? Or started something that led to afton realizing he liked killing kids? Something like that I would've been interested in if we were going outside of the box. But instead we got a meh kind of movie with some nice parts. You can't lie, it's objectively a really mid film that's really just fun for fans. Which isn't bad per se, just that clearly Scott was trying to widen that scope to newer people which ultimately flopped.

Got home from watching the FNaF Movie with my dad, and I can confirm, My Dad who has no clue about the FNaF Lore, He didn't understand a single thing, though He did predict the career counselor was William Afton, when That hint came up in the beginning it went well over my head.

I still don’t get why people say there’s too much lore. The plot is paper-thin, and the lore is surface-level. I know I’m biased, idk what it’s like to see it as someone who’s not a fan, but I feel like it’s REALLY not that complicated.

10/10 movie. Need a sequel

7:28 Yes, Mike doesn’t use the garage, but his job is to make sure nobody gets in the building by any means necessary. Meaning that his job is to check ALL potential entrances to the building, even if he personally didn’t interact with it. He, as the security guard should’ve done a check around the entire building on his first night to see said potential entrances. Imagine there’s a break in at a mall and the crooks came in from an unlocked door in the back, but the night guard didn’t know it was unlocked simply because he never goes through that particular door, so he doesn’t check it. Why would people blame anyone else but him? If the garage was truly unlocked, it IS negligence on Mike’s part, since checking that ALL entrances are locked is literally his job, even if he doesn’t care. Even If it didn’t have a lock, Mike should’ve reported it, or bought one himself. Also, the guy had a crow bar, but there’s no indication that he used it to open the garage. He was just gonna use that to break stuff.

The first thing I did after seeming the protagonist was lean over to my sibling and said “look it’s skydoesminecraft.” Glad I’m not the only one who thought that. 😂

I think it was a fun movie, and deeper analysis is unneeded, it was 100% worth the near decade wait!
