I am struggling with this ssa form 3373! I have degenerate disc disease generalized Anxiety disorder and osteoarthritis in both of my knees. I used to work as a Preschool Teacher. I was wondering how I can get help?

Yes Melissa I have a question regarding this 3373 report. I am in the reconsideration phase add having to do this for the second time. My particular issue is this for most of my career I have been in Finance and Accounting which generally necessitates me being able to sit at a desk for long periods of time. Within the last couple of years I have developed a degenerative hip condition which includes avascular necrosis and severe arthritis. In addition for the better part of three decades I have had spinal stenosis and issues with an L4 L5 disc . Basically my modus operandi I guess is to try to convince the Social Security people that I am not able to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time due to my condition. Basically I can only sit for about a half hour before I run the risk of when I try to stand up literally having my hip lock up and taking me a long time to get straightened out and for my hip to get to the point that I can actually move. How would you suggest that I approached answering this question on my new 3373 form? I did a prosafe filing the first time but I am now using an attorney and we are to be going over this form sometime in the middle of next week. Thank you for your assistance

😮Omg I'm so glad I found this. I'm having a hard time filling this out. You gave me more to think of that I missed. I'm so grateful. As I'm filling this out if I have more questions and need help, can I just email you? Or what's the best course of action? I am having a remand hearing in August. I sent in my original SSA 3373 form in January 2021. I have had changes that are worsening. Do I need to update my form so theyre not trying to deny me on past symptoms? Thank you

Hello I received a package requesting that I complete multiple forms and return with in 10 days.. I received them about 1 week after their dated paper work and need more time . Is it ok to pass the 10 days I need more time too much information

Call the Representative at their number located at the bottom of the letter. Must ask for a extension asap. They will give u more time. I been trying to fill out Function Report n It triggers my anxiety n I cry n walk away. They granted me an extension for another 7 days after calling them for 3 whole days . She finally called me back after I blew up her phone n cried n begged for her to call me back finally she called lol. Good Luck n GOD BLESS.

Hi thank you for your helpful information, I am 51 year old woman with Rymitiod arthritis, I started to fill out question 5 only wrote down a paragraph, before my hand started cramping , realized I definitely needed help filling out these forms , so I call the the guy who is supposed to be handling my case at Kirkendall Dwyer LLP , so at first he tells me he is unable to access forms because it's locked!? Calls me back next day saying he is still unable to access forms that I should call social security and go ahead and let them help you with these since that's where they were gonna be sent anyway!!! I definitely want a different attorney, if I tell kirkendall I am done with them and have another attorney, is this going to delay the claim process, this is first time applying for ssd

Hi Mrs lawyer, my question is if you can sue the goverment if they denied a disability claim, where you have proof of your mental condition, either ptsd or other condition disorder and you be forced to work with the public ,then an altercation occur and you get hurt or the other person get hurt because they didnt understood there was a mental problem?

If you mean “sue” as in file a civil suit against the government the answer is no. Your only option is to utilize your rights to appeal a unfavorable decision up the chain of command according to the social security procedure. Your best option is to hire yourself an attorney that focuses on disability and ssi. DO NOT HIRE a firm that is only a ssi/ssdi representative and isn’t a legitimate attorney. It’s a waste of your time. I learned that the hard way ! Plus, if you have to keep appealing unfavorable decisions they CAN NOT represent you in federal court. You will have to hire a genuine, certified ssdi attorney to represent you in federal court and most attorneys won’t want to touch your case once it’s reached that level.

I have a new lawyer, and I just received a function report from SSA. This is the second one they are making me fill out because the one I filled out in the beginning of my case is over a year old. They want this for reconsideration. Should my lawyer be helping me fill this out?

I help some clients, though many clients are able to do it on their own. You know your daily functioning far better than your lawyer does.

If you are between 62 and 67, you may be eligible for SSDI or SSI even if you are already collecting early retirement! I can help on those types of claims.
