Also some discussion of wheel types and what is a good setup for a machine shop that needs to modify carbide tools occasionally. Thanks!

Never hand ground a drill before. We have had troubles in the past trying to get a flat bottom on a part, if we can manage to get this to cut on center and on size that would be amazing.

That's a blue norton surface grinding wheel isn't it, that is sooo cheating, just like how its cheating when I used to go hand grind something on our beat up surface grinder :P The point is, those wheels are friggin awesome in tool steel and I'm jealous of having them on a bench grinder.

You have a verry train hand doing that, anyway I did that way maybe 20 years ago but not close better than you do.
