For younger generations: the joke is that before Trump, presidents were expected to be very calm, respectful, and dignified and Obama in particular represented those qualities. In fact, another comedy show, Key and Peele, made a joke about how Obama had to swallow and suppress any sign of anger with an “Obama Anger Translator” sketch in which his repressed anger was personified by a second character, Luther, who would express how the president must really be feeling, “translating” his benign demeanor.

rick nguyen really? How many people was that? Considering he did take action against it. It’s also up to the individual states, not the federal government. And other countries had people die with covid, many had even more deaths when population is taken into consideration. Oh yeah, the CDC even came out to say that 6% of the deaths were due to covid alone. But yeah trump shouldn’t have let anyone die. He should have made the US the only country with no covid deaths even though there isn’t much he can do as president. As Harris rightly pointed out, Obama only let 2 people die of Ebola, which is basically covid.
