@@rageiusthe reason they’re the deadliest is because there are a lot of bacteria to prey on. Otherwise, they’re no more harmful than the average virus.

@@LineOfThy they're also deadly because of their design. They look like they were engineered. They have a head far away from the host, a body, and legs to attach to the host with a needle. Just like a syringe without legs. They look so much different than any other bacteria they are leagues ahead in evolution. It's a good thing that bacteria that hurts humans doesn't look like that because it would be way more deadly.

This is why you should ALWAYS finish a course of antibiotics when prescribed. Even when you're feeling better. Because then if there's one or a few bacteria left, we basically speed up evolution. The strongsst survive, even on a microscopic scale.

This is actually crazy to think about, due to years ago I saw and HBO special on experimental cancer research, they tried give this cancer patient the malaria virus and she started to see signs of remission in a few weeks.

You know what would be good? A future where phages became a central part of our immune system. Like they'd be first responders right after our innate immune system. They could release an enzyme thats a signal to the phages saying "Bro, we need help!". They would kinda fuse with anti-bodies as in immobilize you AND cascade out of control if you let it. Plus, they would linger on for a long time after the fact, stopping most bacteria in their tracks or slowing them down if they're stronger

I honestly don’t understand why we as a species haven’t invested much into understanding other life forms like viruses and fungai. Phages can very easily be a cure-most for bacteria and Fungai is great at repairing damaged nerve and brain cells. Why haven’t we been looking into both for 50 years?

It's crazy how youtube has evolved over the past years. This content is better than content we see in movies and TV shows lol, and this is totally free content. I think youtube is going to overtake traditional media, it really is changing the entire way people consume content. I think your channel could a pioneer of the future, at least in the animation circle. You are the Casey Neistat of animations. Anytime I get a little confident about my animations, I come to this channel and get humbled very quickly lol.

Crazy but true story I had a cousin that I knew since we were very little. When me and him were 6, 7 or 8 and he got a cold. Normally people can just take some meds and get rid of some sicknesses easily, but when he got meds and they didn’t do anything they when back to the hospital again. Repeat that 1 or 2 more times and throughout this he’s just getting worse and worse with every visit. It got so bad he had to stay in the hospital 24/7. Somehow the cold spread to his lungs then throat and then his brain. He was essentially in a coma for a week or so and died due the cold spreading so fast. He was one of the 5 or 6 cases ever recorded. ( it’s been years since then and I don’t know how many cases there are now ) I have already gone through the process of grieving and all that so I am over it by now but I just thought it would be a crazy story to share.

It frustrates me that "are viruses alive" is still a question. They are! They occupy very specific niches and its even possible some bacteria have evolved to become viruses if they find a good enough set up for it. Yes, they generally need to hijack other organisms for the sake of self replication, but there are multicellular organisms that do the same thing. I'm thinking of fungi off the top of my head, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were other kingdoms that did this.
