Do you mean the working holiday visas? I came to Canada on one of those, they can be really restrictive for who they take and some countries have only a limited number of spots but they're great for people who just want to come for a few years and do temporary work

Hi im thinking about getting a work permit to work in Vancouver, im from seattle, and was wondering are you allowed to travel back home whenever you want to? Or are you stuck up there?

Under normal (non-covid) circumstances yup you can go back and forth from the states as long as your visa is valid.

Kristina Lynn I have done that before when i had a student visa. But what about during covid? Can you come back like right now?

@@Monti-Drovetti I would check the border restrictions as they change by the day but from my understanding you can still fly to the US right now but you have to quarantine (and I think they just introduced you have to get a covid test) to return to Canada. Non-essential visitors from the US are banned from canada but I THINK that visa holders are ok (check this)
