Diet has nothing to do with the Inguinal Hernia. Hernia is nothing but there is a part of abdominal wall lowest part is called inguinal region where the abdomen joins the thighs in that portion. It's called as inguinal region. So there are certain small defects in the muscles there. So the intestines are other abdominal contents can protrude those defects that is called hernia. Hernia is not a disease it defect and it is a disorder rather than a disease. So it is a mechanical issue it can happen due to various reasons. Some people will have from a childhood they all have weakness and intestines will be protruded. For some at a later stage because of lifting of heavy weights or increased abdominal pressure the defects can open up and intestines and other things can protrude causing hernia. In old age because of the muscles become weaker again that can give way and protrusion can happen. Again that is one type of hernia. So directly has no role in that if somebody is very obese. Then the muscles there become weaker and then they get stretched. So one can get hernia. So diet that can decrease the obesity can be useful . But hernia itself doesn't have any direct bearing with the use of diet.
