That joker origin movie sounds like the silent film The Man Who Laughs. He had a permanent smile on his face and was ridiculed. He was in a circus in the film I think. The character was said to be inspiration for the joker, but I don't know for sure.

That teleporting concrete wall you spoke of was probably Eldrac, who was a human who under went teregenesis. I'm pretty sure that the city of Attilan was built around him but I'm not 100% sure. But yeah his powers are basically that he'll teleport anyone in his mouth exactly where they want to be, including between dimensions. Sounds like they fucked him up tho :D

I havent seen it yet but from what youre saying it sounds like Maximus is somehow making the royals lose their powers: Medusa's hair gets shaved and Karnak hits his head probably damaging his brain where his powers oeiginate. from

I think her hair having a healing factor would have been a good idea. Have it grow a bit each episode until it's back to the length of the original wig.

Although this season hasn't been as good as other seasons even though there's plenty of wow moments, I still genuinely enjoy Game of Thrones. It's not like I'm hate watching it like walking dead because I'm already too invested in the show and I don't have other things to do in between studying

"Go intergalactic!" I agree wholeheartedly, and ever since X2 I've been waiting for them to introduce out-there characters like Shadow King or Mojo and his world. X-Men have good villains and they need to start using them properly. I hope they can direct the franchise skyward without ruining anymore staple characters like Apocalypse, Juggernaut or Dark Phoenix (Potentially for the second time now.) Last I must say despite it all, I am glad the X-Men film franchise endured. I thought the were dead in the water after The Last Stand. I hope comic films continue into the far future, I think they will, due in large part to Xavier and his gifted youngsters.

Inhumans was always a bad idea. But since Netflix & Daredevil - I would have been quietly hopeful if they said Green Lantern was standing alone. But..FFS. From trailer one I was so angry. & I liked Blackbolt in the...cards. Also, I had a cousin kicked in the head by a horse who had her neck broken, then died at the hospital. They are a menace.

An old issue of "The Thing" showed that he was born a normal bipedal Inhuman, and became dog-like because of the Terrigen Mist. He can also talk, but it is very difficult and painful for him. In that issue a mutant with a misshapen purple body was born in a typical backwoods Kentucky village, and the people wanted to kill him, but his power was projecting the emotion of love, and they walk away. Lockjaw brings the mutant up to the moon at the end. I think that's when Lockjaw says something poignant, but it's been 30 years since I read that.

I wish the big Inhumans debut didn't suck. I love them, but the new show is terrible. The only kind of defense any blind fanboy usually has to say is "wait until you see the entire show before you speak!". Well, it shouldn't require more than a single episode to "get good", it should grab you from the start. Plus, you can extract so much from the trailers how bad things were going to be beforehand. Anyone mildly experienced in the world of cinema could see that. I'm curious how different the original planned MCU film would have been had it not been pushed off the phase block.

cartoon80s90s I had fun with it! The goofiness is intentional, as it's a partial satire of the superhero genre. They do a good job of developing their characters and delivering jokes that make you at least smile most of the time. It's a little slow in the beginning, and I wouldn't recommend it if you can't get past the intentional goofiness, but if you're looking for a fun time, I'd recommend it! At the same time though, I wouldn't buy Amazon prime just to watch it.

Nicholas Viespoli I'm assuming you're talking about the latest version of The Tick with Peter Serafinowicz, and not the earlier series with Patrick Warburton or the animated show from the mid 90's. I gave the new version a try yesterday and watched the first two episodes. I think Peter Serafinowicz is doing a good job so far in the little bit that I've seen and the sidekick seems like he has potential. I thought the generic bad guys gang annoying but I need to watch more to see where the plot goes with them. The intro to The Ticks nemesis was decent, forget the actors name but have seen him in many, many films over the years and he usually does a good job.

coalhalo It was so weird seeing Seranfinowicz in the role after his appearances in Guardians of the Galaxy and Shaun of the Dead, but I thought he embodied the character very well. I see your point with the generic mob because it is pretty forgettable, but it didn't really bother me because of how good of a job they did with Mrs. Lint's character (the one with the glass eye). She's a very entertaining villain, and by episode six, she was one of my favorite characters. I hope you keep watching though because the season got better to me as it went on! The beginning was a little slow and repetitive for me, but it ends on a pretty high note. Episode 5 was my personal favorite.

If there is no iMax theatre near you you will have to wait for the TV premier on 29th of september , then It depends on which country you are in and how you feel about pirating TV shows and such.

You can see it in IMAX or wait till it's on TV in the fall. It's not that bad if you consider it's a TV show. When watching it in IMAX, it's easy to expect it to be more cinematic. It's just a TV show for network television with basic graphics and a 42 minute story formula. It's like AoS, which I have a soft spot for.

How bad must the Marvel's Most Wanted pilot have been to get shelved in favor of this godawful Inhumans series? But then, I guess it did star Adrianne Palicki, who has a terrible track record with superhero pilots (Aquaman and Wonder Woman before Most Wanted).
