I’m just curious now to see how many years does it take for other loopers to reach his godlike skills, controls and mixes. It’s hard to imagine there’s anyone can even compare to his alien style. It doesn’t matter he’s gonna win for sure. We just need his music on the sound system. That’s the point.

@@gunhasirac I mean, its all subjective but a lot of the other loopers are currently doing stuff at a similar level, but it is so hard to compare because everyone has a different style. Who can say if Robin or Inkie is better? Or Brez. Or Dice. Or PSN. ect.

There aren’t enough words to describe just how much Inkie’s on another level. His sounds are incredibly clean, his transitions are clean, and his beats are nasty af. Easily one of the top three loopers in the world in my book and has been since 2018.

Some context for this battle: SO-SO mentioned in his comment on the GBB video how he was absolutely exhausted going into this after the semi-final round vs Rythmind, so it makes sense his rounds were a bit lacking here.

@@aneeshmudaliar5561 It's not an excuse if he thinks he deserved to lose. He knows he deserved to lose. He accepts that. He also aknoledges that he should've come more prepared, and will probably do that in the future (ex. GBB21), but who knows since he's in 4 different categories.

So-so had the basis of some incredible rounds in there, but they never really went the same distance as Inkie's did. To us, it seemed like So-so wasn't expecting to get as far as he did, and so wasn't as prepared as he could have been. Then again, we don't know that much about competitive looping, so we could be way off. So-so's trick at the end with the hand-tapping thing was really fucking cool, though.

I wonder how it would turn out if it was So-So inkie in quarter finals. Obviously, So-So's best 2 rounds were against Beatness, so its hard to compare skill when in his matches against Rythmind and Inkie, he was massively unprepared.

I might not watch a video the day it drops but I always try to make time to go back and watch it. Don't worry about letting your frustrations out but don't let it discourage you, we all need to vent from time to time. I think not only the reactions but the analysis is what the audiences were looking for. We are not as professional as you, that's why we are interested in how you would analyse these rounds. As we learn more about of the looping, we may have more enjoyment of those pure musical pieces. We just need to learn to enjoy more. Btw, good job for the video, the new track is mind blowing.🔥🔥🔥

Watch oxygenic in the recent clip loopstation battles. He literally is the new inkie, revolutionizing the entire scene. Using a double midi device which is allowing him to do so many things, again just like inkie people have to ask if oxygenic is within the rules, but he was... He does some crazy thing like samples a whole piano into the controller for him to create melodies with....I'm not a looper, I don't know the details of what he does...but just watch his battles, he explains a little of what he does in his battle against yaswede.

Concerning what you said about your music video. I really liked it. Nice editing, dope track. Maybe it helps, if you rename your music stuff. Like writing Official music video in the title, because I at first thought it was a very short vlog and not a music video. It would also help people, who maybe watched the GBB stuff and search something like Brez music to find your songs more easily, when you have something with music, like music video in the title.

I think this Battle Is very weird because SO-SO did a very good Battle against Beatness but fell down In my opinion in the semis and Inkie also did very good routines in the quarterfinals but the NME VS Inkie dilema happened and he ended Up in the small finals. The only complaint i have about loopstation artists is that nearly none of them ever sidechains, the drums are almost always in the back of the mix being muddeld by their basses and synths. The worst part is that you can buy really well made automatic sidechain compression devices so you dont even have to use the filter in your loopstation

That's kind of the problem with the loop yeah. You can't really apply EQ on the master and the compression is a bit whack. The Bass effect (Guitar to bass) if not well balanced sounds pretty bad. It's hard to have a good mix in live.

9:18 I know hindsight is 20/20, and I also don't think you're wrong. But Bizkit won gbb21, with a single device. Granted I believe he benefited from dice having such bad audio issues against Chris, and also from frosty messing up his first round in the finals. But none the less, he won fair and square. Took the hand he was dealt, and made the best of it. So again, I definately agree that a second device gives you an advantage, but to say you can't win without one isn't entirely accurate, as proven by Bizkit.

0:49 yes that's an ugly truth, but just do the reaction man, you're an expert loop artist, we need your opinion about other loopers. btw I don't think beatbox and loop reaction is an easy-content, you need some massive experiences and maybe some trophies so that your reaction can be meaningful and has its value.

For me Inkie´s 2nd round is easily one of the best routines out of all of GBB 2019. Even today, the 2nd drop gets me every time. But I felt kinda bad for SO-SO. Whenever watching this battle (or even the semifinal vs Rythmind) I had this strange feeling he was already out of (prepared) ideas and had to come up with something on the spot and you just wished him to do better, because you know he could considering what he did to Beatness.

Why is one looper not able to listen to what his opponent is doing?? I mean the crowd and the judges can hear it from the speakers so why can't the 2nd person on stage??
