You can call the Chinese player 'Du' or 'Lance' since the Chinese character 渡 is transliterated as "Dù" in Pinyin and this is also the mainland Chinese localized name of the character known as "Lance" in Pokemon (the Elite Four/Champion guy with the Dragonnites). So basically if you want to pronounce the name in Chinese it's "Dù" but if you want to use the meaning behind the username it would be "Lance". Note: the actual meaning of the Chinese character "渡" has nothing to do with lances or spears or anything of the sort. That's just some random name the English localizers came up with because it's a cool sounding name. Lance's actual name is Wataru (ワタル) and the equivalent Japanese character for 渡 in Kanji would also be pronounced Wataru, so even though 渡 is "Du" and not "Wataru" in Chinese the Chinese localization makes perfect sense while the English localization is completely arbitrary like most western localizations are.

The craziest fumble and turnaround game. But shows the skills of correcting mistakes and maintaining composure

A theory i concocted on why chinese player built tank before recon: Despite having more vision and move range, recon provides less presence and therefore flexibility than an early tank. An early recon is easily countered by an early tank, and a tank has more value in the later part of the game and in this small map. An early tank provides a more threatening presence that can make infantries retreat and enemy units take a more defensive stance, with the tank being able to switch to different side of the map if the odds are stacked and even sometimes surprise the enemy too. And in this particular map, early artillery seems more than guaranteed, and chinese player knew his early tank would meet less resistance and deny even more positions.

The longer the game goes on the more bad gets lighning strike? True, BUT if you hold on to it and watch your opponent retreating till base range cause he knows he would be getting crused if he doesn't. Allows you to capture all the sweet income buildings to get a heavy advance =)

I know I'm 3 months late, but 33:51 That copter was in a forest and surrounded by 3 of tordread's units, I don't see any way the max player could have vision on it, except by getting trapped with a unit on that city (which it was not the case since the AA could attack from it)

I thought the idea of this matchup was for max to try and smash eagle before the scop and pushing forward. Allowing eagle to build made for a great game to watch though.

Hey Deej, in regards of that ceasefire in the south-east: Since 渡 had to move his copters diagonally across the entire map anyway, I wonder what would have happened if he'd pathed one of them to go through Tordread's less defended area in the south. Stopping to attack infantry would of course delay that copter from getting where it's needed. But just swinging a copter through that area wouldn't slow down its diagonal movement at all, and it might have spooked Tordread to divert some assets to that area and away from the main fight. Or, do you think it was wiser for 渡 to hold off until he was ready to actually attack and take those properties?

Hey Deejus, maybe you could do a video on how to properly use eagle. He has the highest potential out of any Co, but he is also the hardest to use fully utilize since his only viable power is his Super Power and you have to have to play quite defensive:

Chimpy just never built any infantry after the early game. And the infantry he had left just hung out doing nothing. There were so many opportunities for him to capture properties if he had infantry to capture them with. I suspect he stayed in it for so long cause he only built vehicles and so he was able to keep smashing back and forth. But he could have won early if he just captured some properties.

Can you explain something. In fog match, when a unit is in a forest, you need vision to attack it, correct? Because I've seen more than once in my matches, if I place a unit in a forest and kill off something, it can be shot without vision.

Before the start of the match, I don't know if it happens or if it gets talked about, theoretically if you are exerting pressure on the far airport, couldn't you delete the missile and capture that one if you don't want to give up pressure my using an arty?
