Pokémon made a genius move by not transferring over the masterball reverses. They have a reason now for the Japanese version to retain value which usually isn’t the case. Hope they keep these types of changes moving forward. Adds more fun to pack opening of different varieties.

The holofoil of the energy cards are a throwback to Japanese base set holos. That is very cool.

Least they gave the English version demi-God Packs, since they all aren't AR Cards just instead of reverses and a holo the Demi-God Packs in English have a SAR Evolution line of one Pokémon like charmander to Charizard card you saw him you'll outta box 3

I would get them for regular price but not for $40-50. You would be better off getting the trainer box by then.

I kind of just decided in the end to cancel my pre-order, mainly because since the sar mews, mewtwos, snorlaxes and zapdos are guaranteed in certain sets, their values aren't going to be that high. I've also noticed that pull rates for english are worse than Japanese after watching many KZfaqrs pull the English set. Plus, the masterball holos in the Japanese set will rise in value. However, it is absent in the English set. This set is going to eventually get reprinted a lot due to the demand. Only two cards from the English set will hold value, which is the gold mew and the sar Erika's invitation, along with the gold energies.

I think Japanese version is going to be worth the value for a long time. English version may not do well in the next 6 months for single card value

They changed name to secret art Rares and the Illustration Rares now are just AR's as Art Rares, and the full arts have 2 or 3 gold or silver stars

Yeah rather boring. I will open a few up but definitely Japan is the way to go. Hard to get excited after seen so many Japanese opened up with all the nicer stuff like masterball reverse holos and god packs, I mean real god packs not the watered down English version

I think you miss the point. Obviously you didn’t watch the video in totality. My advice is buy enough to open for fun, if you are building master set, observe the market then go in with buying singles and janx to build up the set. Thus no need for me to apologise
