This house strikes a great balance between contemporary design and feeling comfortable. There are lots of interesting features and textures that never feel out of place or gaudy (except maybe the powder room and carbon fiber bathtub). Too often, contemporary CA homes feel sterile and office-like. This is a house I could see myself living in.

I absolutely LOVE this home, Enes! So many of the houses that you showcase, while being huge and beautiful, seem rather cold and hotel-like. They are so extravagant that they don't feel like a home. THIS house looks and feels like a home and while beautiful and elegant, it looks homey, comfortable and you can just tell that the owners are real, down to earth people. I loved that you included the commentary by the owner. As a mid-westerner from Wisconsin, I identified so much with his down to earth attitude and demeanor; you can just tell that he's a "regular guy". When he was speaking about himself and his wife and said that they started with nothing, I can believe it because the home reflects comfortable elegance without being overly, wastefully extravagant for the sake of extravagance. The design of the decor doesn't scream "look at how wealthy and important we are"; it says, "welcome to our home, come on in and join us"! I loved everything about this video and this home and I'd bet if you joined these owners for cocktails and conversation, you'd find them to be warm, down to earth, regular folks just enjoying their friends and the fruits of their labor! I wish them all the best in their lovely home on the water :)

I've seen so many luxurious houses on KZfaq. And every time when I watch them I think: "Wow! This house is gorgeous! Probably I would like it living here" But this one felt different. There’s plenty of privacy your neighbors cannot see or hear you. These things are very carefully designed with a high amount of detail paid to the materials and sound insulation so even though you may be close to your neighbor, you will never know it from within your home. This of course, is California with a Mediterranean climate you will not find anywhere else in the United States. There is a remarkable absence of insects. It’s very typical in this part of the country for no one to have any screens whatsoever on their windows and they can leave them open all hours of the evening and not a single fly or mosquito will come in. You can’t do that in Florida.

@@DaveP-uv1ml I agree with some of your points but I wouldn't say we don't have insects around here. I have never lived in Newport Beach but I've stayed there for days and weeks at a time, in the Newport Coast hillside area. Huge sliding glass doors are really nice but insects will come around (nothing close to as bad as FL). There is also an issue with mice in the hills. I lived in a 12,000 sqft Malibu house on Point Dume, Malibu for years (wasn't owned by me). Just over an acre for each lot on that street but the homes were mostly side-by-side. Something I notice is often overlooked by people in the comments of these videos is the fact that we're talking about very big homes. It's like a football field next to another football field. If you're in the middle of your football field, people in the middle of the other football field are not going to hear a thing. The videos don't do justice to the real-life feel of very large homes. When you're there on the ground, walking around the backyard, it doesn't feel as close as it appears to be in these videos.

@@DaveP-uv1ml Yes and no. Some large homes only have 4 or 5 bedrooms. They are really large because the rooms are all big. I know it’s common for people to assume wealthy people in big homes are all unhappy. Definitely not always true. Money and material possessions only serve to enhance what’s already there or what would be left if the money was gone.

Absolutely incredible home and fantastic tour. Generally I don't like properties that start off with a smaller space because of how cramped it feels, but having the vegetation either side and no ceiling makes the space feel much more open and the wider space you move into that much more enjoyable.

Yep, told my wife- look, you have 105 ft of no privacy, and plenty of spots for people to jump from their boat to your house. Very few homes shown on these channels have the privacy I'd want if I was rich. I'd need enough land and trees that you couldn't see anything within 100 ft of my house so I could be outside and still always be private. Even the drive up to the house, I wouldn't want anyone seeing into the house, or into any outside space that I'd be hanging out in.😄

Wow! Huge kudos to Mike and Lori Gray for their impeccable sense of taste and style! The house has a very nice and updated feel yet has so many unique textures and unsuprassed warmth which is a very tough balancing act to pull off. Amazing property and quite unique. Perhaps one of the most bespoke properties you guys have toured. Also LOVE that Bentley GT! Hot car for sure.

I love ur videos Enes for one big reason, other real estate youtubers allways sound so fake like they really try to sell you the house and convince u that this thing is great about the house or that thing is while u on the other hand just simply list the things about the house and say what u like about it. Much more chill and doesnt sound like ur trying to shove the house down the viewers throat. By far best real eastet youtuber.

I like that the house is elegant and simple at the same time. There was nothing too extreme. It also has a great view. I would love to have either of the boats too. Great job as usual on the production side of it. I like that the camera man kept silent this time.

Fake news No real estate channel had a cameraman speak so much As evidenced by the number of ppl liking the mikey posts He was allowed to much personality, for a cameraman And tbh it was one of the drawbacks, to me Enes still allows this new guy to also chime in What you typed is demonstrably false

Fantastic home! triple lot size, community feel, views, water access! 🤩🤩🤩 My only critique is the perceived lower ceiling height in the lower living areas. It’s not a deal breaker though. Local ordinances may have played a part.

Gorgeous house, but the continuous textured ceiling on the first floor makes the height seem lower than it is, almost cramped, imo.

Like the owner said... "WOW"was my first impression. What a property. Well thought through and so many different materials and designs. A stunning piece of Art. Very beautiful. It must be a very bold feeling to be able to live in a house like that. I love the house as it is, the only thing I dislike is the amount of TVs. Every room has a giant screen on the wall. The house feels like a home... you can feel all the love and passion they put into each single design element. I hope Mickey is doing well...

Nothing against the other camera guys.... but one of the things I liked about your channel that made it different from everyone else was the conversations you'd have with Mikey. Taking these tours with Enes & Mikey of these amazing homes felt like I was with friends....you know Enes is the sophisticated friend from College and Mikey is that best friend from high school.
