In this video, I spend the day with Eleven, a gender-fluid person named Eleven. Eleven is non-binary or genderqueer, which means that they do not identify as male or female, and is why they use the pronoun they/them instead of him or her.
Eleven was a beauty KZfaqr named Lynette Cenée until they started going through a spiritual process that awakened this transformation. In this video, they discuss how plant medicine inspired this spiritual awakening and the journey it was to becoming Eleven.
Eleven was staying at my house for a week, so we decided to spend the day together so I can learn more about what it means to be gender fluid non-binary, and the journey it’s been to become Eleven.
Spoiler alert: Eleven challenges me to go on a date with a woman for the first time! And at the end of the video, I actually ask out KZfaqr Cami Petyn on a date!

I love this video! I feel like with diff pple .more a.man or a.woman. but I love how comfortable Sky's energy feels now, shes more in feminine and centered. You're so right it's about finding balance and to me it's different and to you it's diff too live this love how honest Eleven is. but if Eleven wants to do a channel again that'd be unreal 😍🤗🤗

The breath work method she was teaching you is a pranayama also known as nadi shodanah or alternate nostril breathing. It originated in Hatha yoga and is used to balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain and purify the nadis (subtle energy channels) in the body. I think it's important to bring awareness to where these practices originate!

Yes, I actually have practiced this breathing many times before. I used to teach yoga all the time! But the infinity symbol with the breath is not something I have tried before and was a completely new take on this.

If you're interested, Pranayama outdates Hatha Yoga and goes back to Kemetic Yoga, which originated in Egypt, the history is largely untaught, you have to search for it, as a rule of thumb black history isn't widely known beyond slavery, however, once you're there is a fountain of knowledge. Many modalities and other things we assume branch from a certain place and culture are quite erroneous, such as Kung Fu, Buddhism, Astrology, Christianity, etc.

Her insistence on you dating a girl was a little off putting. You're clearly uncomfortable, and again, I understand the intent. But, you're being put on the spot every time. If I were insisting over and over you go out on a date with a friend, you'd label me a creep. Boundaries are to be respected. Obviously you're an adult and this is your video, and you or your team approved of the situation since it made the final cut. But it's gonna be an all-caps YIKES for her insistence alone... there are different ways of getting in touch with your masculine side than going for something like dating a woman, as if only men do that. What even is masculinity?

@@animistde you’re evading the question because you can’t clearly define masculinity under the new paradigm. “Masculinity is when you feel like a man.” What does it feel like to be a man? You came into this comment with a dismissive attitude but sit back and think about it. You’re an animist! You should know what criteria YOU use to define what makes a particular spiritual presence as either masculine, feminine or anything beyond that. Whether it’s a rock, a tree or a rusty spoon with character… Secondly, you’re also missing the point of my comment. Eleven was being very pushy about the date when Sky was clearly shown to be uncomfortable. Regardless of pronouns, identity, or states of being, boundaries are boundaries.

If you've never felt that you can't talk about it is my point. Understanding and Compassion. There is NOTHING new under the sun so leave me alone with this new paradigm stuff. I hope that going on this date is something that you're comfortable with if you haven't gone on it already. Just got the energy from the video that you were very hesitant and you have a partner as well. Just don't want you to feel pressured into doing anything for the sake of a video, but rather that you are excited and intrigued to explore that part of yourself ✨

I think it’s more playful and a social experiment more than anything. I have loved doing this just as an exercise to see what comes up for me. I’ve dated people that were in the disabled community because it stretched me to recognize that it all just an avatar at the end of the day. What’s important is to be open and see that it’s all just energy. 😊 not for everyone but I highly recommend xx

Same. I think it’s disrespectful and bizarre to push this stuff onto someone who a.) is in a relationship and b.) has no interest in dating a woman for any reason other than making a video. I’m all for people being whatever makes them feel happy and true to themselves, I just don’t like the pushy-ness onto others I see more often than not.

Thanks for looking out! I am all about getting uncomfortable and trying new things! As you know, I am deeply curious about everything and this is not something I've explored before so there is a desire to see what happens and try this fun experiment. Yes, I have a boyfriend, but I asked him and he was totally cool with it. I think it would be really eye-opening, a learning experience and fun!

I feel like when you realize your an energetic being inside a body sometimes your awareness of reality shifts. Our brains are made to categorize everything like a library in order to make sense of what “reality” is. I really enjoy hearing people’s thoughts on life & how they see themselves. Eleven seems like an interesting being & it was nice getting to know a bit about them. Also, Sky if you meet up with Kami bring brownies!

I can't wait until people stop labeling themselves according to their lowest chakra - rise up people and get out of your sexual and survival instincts - we are spiritual beings having a human experience, we have potential way beyond these personal and egoic labels!!!! There is nothing wrong or plain about being a man or a woman- stop trying to change reality just to change your feelings. I hope that someone else may find resonance with my perspective on this. I’m having a hard time understanding why eleven is clearly (to me) displaying shame surrounding their identity (ie crying, discomfort dancing, inability to verbalize what is going on with them). I’m not suggesting this isn’t their reality, however, I see that there is still much unresolved pain surrounding this topic. Based on what I’ve come to understand about spirituality is that someone who is at peace and secure with who they are exudes only joy and love. During my journey I also experimented with psychedelics. I later learned that it showed me things about this world that I wasn’t yet ready to understand, thus creating an imbalance in my chakras. When the crown chakra is in alignment one feels grounded, wise, and understanding. When this is overactive, we can feel ungrounded, experience spiritual addiction, and a disconnect from our physical reality. I have experienced this myself and I wonder if this is part of what they’re experiencing. Forgive me if I sound insensitive or ignorant in any way but It’s in my nature to remain curious and skeptical. This was also a pretty short video and it’s possible I’m missing pieces of the puzzle. Thanks for sharing your perspective, I feel that you are seperating emotions and states of being, all are valid and neccesary to embody, from sadness to grief to joy and creatvity. Someone who is spiritually at peace and secure with who they is so with all aspects of themselves, sadness, anger, confusion, trauma. To only exude joy and love is to completely ignore and bypass the reality of being human in my opinion and is an illusion. There is a lot of toxic spirituality that comes with not embodying all states of being and aiming for joy/peace/happiness. Being balanced as a human is to witness all of who we are from spirit and accept it all. This is just my view. x

I've worn my hair short for years, have a somewhat androgynous appearance and strangers address me as "sir" on occasion - I don't fit into the traditional appearance and role of what mamy cultures define as a "woman", but I still identify as such because I think we need to open up and diversify our notan of what a "woman" or "man" can be. Calling myself "non binary" would imply that I see gender expression as a rigid, either/or thing, and I don't. What say ya'll?

I resonate with this perspective ….. This Eleven Human is very beautiful …. AND …. she seems to be very very Feminine and Female from my perspective. Women all across the planet play sports, etc, and are in touch with their masculine side, date women (and/or both) and still identify as Female/Women. It feels to me like Eleven is shaking off more of the rigidity of the roles prescribed by society, culture, family, etc. Women can growl like Warriors

Clearly you have an agreeable personality & communication style, but don't feel pressured into doing something if you aren't genuinely interested in it. I get that this subject is popular atm & going on a "date with Cami" is content that some viewers would like to see... but don't acquiesce in order to present yourself as partial to a cause or scene just because it's currently what's trending.

I’m sad at the amount of hate and those who do not wish to simply try understand, however I’m so glad those who are more open are here and they are respectful. I refer to myself as nonbinary, I use he/him pronouns, but I’m still connected to my Divine Femininity. I was born with a womb and my biological sex is female, and that is an honour. This body is beautiful and mine; how I refer to me is me choice. So let it be! Blessed be all! And thank you Sky, for being so respectful.

Hey Sky Life, I adore the fact that you bring all this information out to the world. I love when you collab with MiaMagik or introduce us to new spiritual/health/wellness modalities, this where I feel your content shines the most. However, as a gay man I think its important to understand that yes we all have divine masculine and feminine living within us and yes we are planted in these bodies to explore deeper aspects of these genders, which depends on your karma. However you do not need to go on a date with a woman to understand this, you can do so just by looking around at this diverse world. I don't want you to go on a date with someone, especially if you already have a partner. I also wasn't really feeling Elevens energy, she seemed a little superficial and lacked real depth, but that's just my point of view.

Thank you for sharing your feedback Clayton. I am good friends with both Sky and with Cami. This was more of an exercise to stretch her beyond the gender binary and to see what comes up for her when she does. This is not to disrespect her current partnership (I checked in with both of them and both find this as a playful act of good fun which I believe we should all be more inclined to have) also, as a fellow member of the LGBTQ+ community I just wanna say I celebrate you as you show up in the world as an openly gay man. Bless you for your outward truth! We need that and it is to be honored 🌈✨ I also would love to be equally honored with my correct pronouns especially from someone who recognizes the battle it can be to show up in our truths despite the worlds adversity 💗 sending so much love and real magic your way xx

Yes your right, you have given me something to reflect on, moving forward I will keep this in mind and pay attention to some of these old patterns that come through when it comes to addressing peoples preferred pronouns. I was simply responding out of concern for Sky, that is all but you know the truth is we don't always get to witness all of the situation going behind the scenes so sometimes we respond out of assumptions. Well you do you, and more power to Eleven as far as i'm concerned. But how is this transformation thingy anything other then regular old conversion therap, with a rebrand? And if you are ok with that (aswell as wanting to be morally consistent), wouldn't you also have to be ok with voluntairy gay to straight christian conversion camps?

Every month we have a community meeting (cohousing) and we always start by going around the room and say what pronoun we use to idenify ourselves as. Like them/they, him, her, etc. We do have a member that is gender fluid and identifies themself as him/her/they/them. Also other members that say him/her or something else. Great topic. Thank you for this. Why I love your channel so much is because you get into so many interesting things.

I respect every person, each their own reality aslong as they don't hurt anyone with it. But to me this whole movement is socially engineered to create even more separation and people in it are misunderstanding the female and masculine energetics that is in each of us and take it to a completely personal level. It's a poor child-like representation of ancient wisdom just like the new-age movement is one of old Magick and the Occult. I'm masculine and confident in that, however I know I have a very feminine soul. My soul choose to come here as a male for a reason. So I cherish the will of my soul. Your body listens to you and what if you tell your female cells every day that you don't want them? (for a her that identifies as a he know) I think for many its creating some kind of meaning and "higher calling" in their life to fuel that movement. But what good does it really do? All that energy going into that? Is it feeding kids? Is it even feeding your own family? It's fake spirituality and all it does is feeding and confirm one's ego.

The problem with you people is that your way of thinking is incredibly shallow and every bit of logic is overlapped with victim mentality and the false belief that the whole world is against you. Women so badly want to identify out of our oppression. It makes me so sad that women don’t feel safe to exist in female bodies so they try to convince themselves otherwise. There’s so much hurt involved in these decisions and I hope that women are able to see how divine they are and reclaim their sacred femininity. There’s a reason that the system is trying to convince us to deny our power

I’ve recently chopped my hair due to very similar reasons. I felt the death in my hair. I felt the energy and I needed it off. As soon as I saw myself with short hair, a shift took place. I’m just now embarking on my own journey of balance in its truest form. I see myself feeling more resonance with the term “non-binary,” as well. It’s been a roller coaster and VERY sudden for me too. I came out as “bisexual” last year officially and I’m now evolving more into the “pansexual” term. It’s hard to find an identity when you are evolving to be more and more open with everything in life.

Exactly right Johanna thank you for addressing this. That is why I said we are going to blend the energies into one. Sometimes with editing the entire concept doesn't come across correctly unfortunately. I 100% agree with you - its all under a spectrum of consciousness and one is not more than the other, it is all equal however we have created stereotypes as a society and that must be shattered. The point is to go beyond the gender binary

Yes, interesting enough I had a plant medicine experience earlier this year that opened me up to the possibility that I'm non-binary(was already questioning my orientation as well). I still FEEL my core energetic is Feminine(this incarnation anyway), but even others have begun mentioning their experience of me both strongly. This surprised me, because while I recognize all beings are both, I deeply feared, resented and avoided being seen as Masculine(especially as a Black woman), as though it meant I was defected or less than or undesirable as a woman. And while I'm not opposed to being called "she" or a woman or female, and I am not dysphoric(and still learning to relate to my Masculine), I have this sense it doesn't really fully capture my essence - like a shoe that is a size or two too small, the genie cramming itself into the bottle. Haven't been sure what to do with this, but I'm definitely more open to it. I don't know if I'm bi or pan(though I'm attracted to/polarized with Masculinity in all the people I've been attracted to and prefer and have only dated males but I'm not "strictly dickly" as they say 😅). Now the label of woman(as opposed to womban??) doesn't feel completely resonant either. I'm also not attached to the word queer, though I've been identifying as such for a few years now. All this being said, I'm leaning into this now - its both unsettling(scary) and curious to realize I'm not who I thought I was, so much more. After this video, considering my first "official" date with a woman!

@@iamelevenxx the journey is always personal and you pretty much watch, read and learn stuff but you are never done exploring, i never identified with anyone i watched or said "wow this resonates soo deeply with me i must take this path!" and i never over thought this stuff, your intuition (if you listen intently) tells you exactly what you need anyways, be it positive or negative. For me, the more i thought about spirituality, the more alien i became to my true being, so i said, just let it be, wake up time to time, be in the now and that's pretty much it. I don't believe in seeking, it closes your perception, kinda makes you desperate... i believe in just being... but that's just my 12 years of experience, I'm pretty new...Thank you, yes i love the name crimson and color too :) By the way my "meditation" is swimming... no sitting cross legged and minding your breath etc etc... i just swim in the sea and go back to my 'factory settings', like i said, everyone has their own path :) What i advise many people who are on this path is to relax and let it come, just listen and it will come, dont go into crazy search mode and over think i... you are by deafualt programmed to feel and know exactly what you are supposed to feel and know, don't let the "monkey brain" take over... cause most people don't realize that that's exactly what's happening once you start getting into this... but those are just my 2 scents...

It's interesting how in our society an individuals identity is defined by their body , whether its gender, colour of the skin, sexual preference, location of body. Also masculine and feminine energy is not necessarily tied to gender, it's an expression of energy in two different directions. Great video.

Honnestly all these different practises from people in search of enlightenment and spiritual awakening is starting to spiral out of control... the nostrel breathing she does she took from kriya yoga...they do it for 1000's of years...i know evryone is doing there own thing these days fiending there path... but no one is were they are supposed to be yet...and evryone feels the need to share there things...and what helped them... i dont know what to think of that...i wanne say ignorant and silly... wich is beautiful...but also judgemental from my end...i think people need to keep seartching and do more controlled sharing.

Yes, the breathwork is something most people who have practiced yoga have done many many times, but the infinity symbol was a completely new take on it for me. Personally, I am not in search of enlightenment or anything. I am just here to experience and have fun haha so YES I want to experience all the things and try all the spiritual practices, not to get anywhere but because it's FUN and fascinating to me.

I have to say it’s been hard for me to understand gender fluidity. It seemed to me that the identification of yourself as such a limited being was the opposite direction to becoming aware. But eleven is doing all the same things I am, minus any focus on gender. This makes sense. I hope the “movement” or awakening can learn from eleven.
