What’s up everybody. In today’s video I will be
Unboxing, installing, and giving my overall review of the Sinister Diesel Cold Air Intake for my 2023 Ford F350 Diesel. Overall, the install went pretty easy. It looks great, it sounds great, and it does increase the airflow into your engine to increase performance slightly. The only issue I had on my 2023 F350 was the sensor wires that connects to the intake was a little too short and I had to extend the wires but this was very simple and easy to do.

Thank you for the video. Lot's of good information. Queston: If I put this on a detuned F--550 6.7 would I also need to do some tuning for it to work at its best?

Worst case scenario, with no tuning, you may throw a sensor code once and awhile. Just reset it and you’ll be fine.

Did you have to continuously keep resetting that code in your pickup? Or did you reprogram your pcm to recognize your different airflow?

Maybe once a month but I don’t pay attention to it to be honest as I have a plug in Bluetooth Reader (OBDLINK MX+) and easily reset it on my phone.

You can always paint it or powder coat it. I considered painting mine a gold color someday.

I installed this and ran it for a week and it threw my check engine light one and it says mass air flow sensor any ideas on why?

I got the same thing once in awhile and I just reset mine. The computer is set for the stock air intake that’s more restrictive. The new intake causes the pcm to recognize more air and sometimes it may throw a code. Typically it’s no big deal. Just reset it. However, There may be ways to tune or update the pcm though.
