Can this be walked on like a standard metal roof or will the cells be destroyed?

Yes, it is possible to walk on the panels but it is not allowed to step on the double seam edge. You can also check the mechanical load test: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nqmjlLGV2q-Wj6c.html

No you don't. You just need to open one row from top to bottom and then change the panel you need.
