Bought this vent cover based on your review. just have to install it. I made the mistake of buying two camco vent covers installed only one which works fine but realized the fan vent which is the bathroom would not be able to fully open. this is important because exhausting shower steam and other odors . read on line some people cry that there is no bug screen but the fan has one . so what's the problem Thanks Great Video

I see that it clips in place, is that so that you can remove it to clean under it?

I have the same problem, I replaced mine a week ago due to a crack and leak and now the new one opens up while underway. I thought I was going crazy.

We were looking at new RVs yesterday at a dealer's lot I stepped into the front bedroom and there was water all over the mattress. I noticed that the front vent had cracked open a bit and was letting the outside inside. Oh how cheap RV parts are made...

That's amazing. Thanks for mentioning that. I'm going to have to watch that closely. I guess I'll have to tie wrap the handle some kind of way if this keeps up. Weird. I'm glad I check my be and it's not wet so I think I caught it soon enough.

With the clips Seems like it will rather going down the road.

Perhaps, but it doesn't touch the roof, which was my biggest concern - rubbing a hole in it, etc.
