The radials should be bent down to a 45 degree angle for a better match to 50 ohm coax. Foam RG-8 will have a little less loss than 8X.

I'm about to install a lithium battery on the little travel trailer, so I have been watching a bunch of 7 pin wiring videos. I need to install a 12v/12v 10 amp limiter so my alternator doesn't overheat trying to charge the lithium battery. I just want to say your video is the most in depth and simple to understand out of all of them! Thanks!

Really good information here, instead of saying awg you could just say gauge and we will all know what you’re talking about. 8 gauge, 10 gauge etc..

Thanks for the video & information! I definitely will be getting some liquid tape for rewiring my jon boat trailer. One observation though. I think that you’ll get much better transfer of heat to the wire if you place the soldering iron under the wire (heat rises).

Trying to install a 50 amp service for my RV. I was with you until you showed your breaker panel and at the end you said you had the two breakers dedicated to the RV circuit with legs down to other breakers sharing 120 volts. Now I am more confused than when I started. Electrical work is not in my wheelhouse, so its not your fault.

Good video, but you should never connect a solar panel directly to a battery. It should always go through a solar charge controller first, Otherwise you can destroy your battery.

Great video. I’m trying to replace a safety switch in my lawnmower, which they no longer make the safety switch for and basically the inner workings are two of four wires are connected when the lawnmower is off and in charging mode and then they released and the other two are connected when running mode, what kind of switch would this be? So basically two wires are connected when charging and two different wires are connected when running. Only two wires are connected at any given time.

Now, what about seven pole? Like the semi truck through the round one not the pin I’m having problems running these on trailers. I guess they have a separate function for the turn signals in the stoplight and they don’t have adapters from seven pin to seven pole, but I can find.

Solar 76.692 watts...to the battery - 74.308 watts. Only losing 2.5 watts in the controller. Not much loss.

Still new to rv living and had no idea that this was the cause to the smell! Then your video popped up when I was looking because I did not know that they were called cheater valves. lol Went to ACE and bought the wrong valves! Because another video I watched was the Air Admittance Valve, so bought that and it was too big for mine, and after seeing this video I got the right ones! Especially since I did not know that the kitchen had one as well! Thanks for the video it helped alot!

No we dont fit the mold. First thing they did was remove all the trees. Very typical of our area

Plus also one thing to add it’s not three pole four wire it’s a two pole for wire. We call it polls because that is the gang of breakers that are connected together in the panel so they two pole 50 amp or pole 30 amp are only considered two polesof three pole and our language would be three phase and these are not three phase

I don’t know why you’re calling the neutral 240 V you can never measure 240 V to ground. I understand what you’re trying to get to the neutral is grounded but you should never say that the neutral is 240 V between the neutral and hot would be 120 only, hot to hot 240 neutral to ground to be zero 35 year electrician here
