This video shows the installation of an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold on my Chevy 350 small block. The engine will be going in my 1971 C3 Corvette.

Thanks. This car has been a challenge. Unfortunately I have done a great deal of work on it without videotaping a lot of it.

Nice Build😊Let me know if you run stock rockers with the Edelbrock heads and if they work out ok ? Putting Edelbrock heads on my 74 Stingray and not sure if I would have to get roller rockers or aftermarket rockers??

The stock rockers seem to be working ok but I think I did it over I would install roller lifters and rockers.

can that work for cast iron heads also ?

I'm sure it can. I would contact the manufacturer to confirm and then follow their recommendations.

RTV is NOT supposed to be used around intake ports. It's suitable for water jackets.

There are a lot of different opinions on this subject. Most manufacturers tell you not to use anything with their gaskets. A lot of old-time mechanics say they always use silicone. I think it depends on what you are used to doing and what works for you.

@@timewiththedurbins Opinions are not facts. RTV IS NOT designed to be used where gasoline is present.

@@Thirdgen83 You are correct sir. The only RTV designed to resist gasoline is MotoSeal 1 Ultimate Grey Part #29132.
