Installing Brakenetic GT Lexus ISF Rear Rotors On A Lexus RCF

I wanted to try out Lexus ISF rear rotors on my Lexus RCF. I heard it works, I know it works, and its advertised by companies to work. Sure enough, it worked which I really wanted to explore more options for this platform. Enjoy!

Learn a lot of, keep doing bro. Mine F is hitting 130k mileage now and still going strong (got used from 120k mileage). Proud to be F owner, now the F is my daily car. Love it so much.

I have no plans to change out my brakes anytime soon nor do I have interest in brakenetic rotors. But watched this thorough car video all the way through. 😂👌👌

Couple of questions, how did you make breaking the caliper bolts so easy and how did u manage to torque to spec with the limited room? And you didn’t place the rubber piece from the old rotor to the new one, is that important bc I forgot to place mine and I don’t feel like breaking that caliper bolt again💀

The rubber piece is a hub center for my wheels. The torque spec isnt so high that you cant break it easily. Its all doable. Torquing to spec will have to be in the ground area and not above the rotor

The next upgrade for me would be a two piece rear rotor. These rotors work as intended. The front does most of the braking

The brakes have been good. I dont get the rust around the hub.

These are not noisy. I think the brake pads would be the ultimate contributor to brake noise. These hold up well and equivalent to oem

Good job, you forgot the rubber plug (hand brake adjuster cover) on the disc i might keep a bit of salt out of your shoe's cheers.

I'm always surprised that something as important as the break pads is held in place by nothing but a loose pin. Also, this video is definitely missing an informal break test ;)

@@thehuangbros Yes, of course ;) But in all seriousness, it would be interesting whether you could feel a difference and whether the brake temperature changes (not that the brakes get that hot outside a race track).

@@Sebb747 so far the rotors in the rear are doing ok. The amount of braking the rear actually contributes is showing more and more each day. It is still even and nice throughout unlike the fronts where they are more dominant in the braking. I do need to take these to the Nurburgring and try them out.

By the way, if you'd like, Misha Charoudin (from Apex Taxi on the Nürburgring) does laps with fan cars. Would give you & the RC F some publicity and you'd get a free show of what your car is capable off ;) I wanted to offer mine at some point, but it's really not track ready yet and I don't want to take it to the ring before being confident that I can do a lap myself.
