This is a commercial waste valve in a 2 bay sink. Changing commercial 3 bay sink drains is much easier than you think and standard plumbers will charge hundreds of dollars! This project cost about 50 with the waste valve included. In the video you see me push the rubber seal below the sink line but it was not clear enough in the footage. MAKE SURE THE RUBBER SEAL SITS BELOW the sink basket to prevent any leaking.

I think the primer is supposed to go on in the total area connected (not just unevenly smeared) first dry then cement, also floor drain. Plumbers putty on top cardboard is removed its just packaging.

By Uniform Plumbing Code, That sink needs to be connected to an indirect drain ( floor sink ) Like the one next to it in the video

People: do it right the first time. Use Teflon tape on metal threads, or pipe dope. And I bet that 2" to 1" rubber adaption leaks. Sheesh

Most of the time yes. On a gravity drain like this it wasn’t necessary, years later, no leaks.

Lol your rubber seal goes on the bottom of the sink. You used cpvc glue on pvc. I hope this is just a funny video to get a laugh. 😂😂 there’s no emoji for stupid. Should have called the plumber

You install the gasket the wrong way .

you put the rotary waste in wrong, you didn't know thats what its called, you used the wrong glue on the pvc, there is a way better way to connect that waste together.. you don't bring babies to job sites and put them on camera around plumbing tools.. this is very very unprofessional. Pretty much everything you did.. Wheres the teflon tape and dope?

See description on rubber seal. Seal goes in below. No Teflon or dope needed- it’s a drain that is not used much and doesn’t have pressure as I noted if you watched the video in it’s entirety I gave viewers that option and stated why I didn’t use it. I’m not plumbing a commercial sewer line here. This is for DIY restaurant people not people looking to become a plumber. Thank you for your comments though.

Instead of putting rubber down in the description why not go back stop the video and edit in a revision saying that people wont read the description they will just do what the see and hear.

That thing will 100% leak. I do this repair at least 2 times a week, and this is not how to do it. Sorry, man, more research is needed before making videos.

It's been installed for over 2 years now and not a drop. Thanks for the professional advise though- look at the other video attached to it, I showed a follow up for anyone that said the same thing.
