Using a cheap China excavator to install an 18" culvert pipe, then using a Kubota KX121-3 with a tilt bucket and a TL10 track loader to dig more drainage swales and install another pipe.

And from his last demonstration, I was convinced to buy the same machine--the H12. I originally was considering an excavator which had to be moved by a trailer hitch. The H12 cost a little more but is more versatile. Already received it and 3 of the 4 attachments for it. Several little adjustments and tightening of bolts were necessary But am excited to use it!

Post 10 even as adult is educational watching and listening to him to talk.......Where he lives and where I live day to day are world apart......I think children would get A LOT out of watching his video's, they should be shown in schools, not all the culvert ones, but when his is showing you stuff you would never have seen otherwise, the way he talks about different things is very interesting, it's almost like he has an autism of knowledge.

The two keys to a good driveway or road is a functioning ditch, and a crown in the center to direct water to the ditches, and prevent it running down the road and washing it out. Good job Andrew. You will have done four grand worth of work with that little machine in no time.
@ajcaiati3 ай бұрын
Andrew I’ve had a lot of experiences with the culvert pipes on our mountain road. The 14” pipe you just put in is fine. But it needs to be on a 45° angle going across the road. This way the water keeps moving faster on a 45° angle. I’m just trying to help you out. You do lots of great work, and I always enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
@ajcaiati3 ай бұрын
PS: The 45° angle will help the water to flow faster, and it will also help with the leaves. The faster the water moves. The harder it is to stop it.
