Something to think on: the rear of the door has two rivets in it, and is actually a factory spot for mounting a power actuator like is being done here. These lock motors fit perfect to factory vertical linkage when mounted in that spot, wiring correct for operation. I believe there is also a tag at the rivets that states power lock

I just got my kit in will be doing this on the weekend. But have to wait for my joker style switches to come apr 6. Can bang this job out faster knowing where you mounted everything. Those instructions that come with the kit suck lol

i wonder that same thing a switch is a switch its just + or- . you could get dor pannels with power locks cheap im sure , as ck ,tahoe suburbans all the same thing probably worth the schematic headaches

yea true you can get all stock stuff and put in there but its very expensive unless you know the right people.

I just installed one of these and one issue i have is when i push the lock button it unlocks the door and when i push the unlock button it locks the door, what can be the issue?

It has to do with how you mounted it make sure you tighten it with solenoid in unlocked position and the door in unlock

You know how when press the key fob the cylinder plunges one direction make sure its the correct direction

Reverse the polarity of the power and ground to the motor. Instead of black to black, and blue to blue. it'll be black to blue.
