MAWA IN MINUTES
Cooking Time: 6-8 min.
Yield: 500g+
Ingredients
1. Full cream milk 1 cup.
2. Powdered milk 11/4 cup.
3. Ghee 2 Tbsp.
Procedure:
4. Heat a pan and add 2 Tbsp of ghee. Add the liquid milk. Heat will be on low-medium. Let it come to a boil.
5. When starts boiling gradually add the powdered milk. Stir constantly. Heat will be the same. It will take 6-8 min to be ready. Time may vary a little depending on the stove.
6. When it starts to form as a dough turn off the heat. Transfer to a greased tray with ghee. Spread with a spatula and leave it for 10-15 min.
7. Then fold and roll it several times to make a shape.
8. Keep in the freezer for 1-2 hours. After that take it out from the freezer and grate it for your required dish. This fresh mawa will make your dish amazingly delicious. It can be stored in the freezer in a zip-lock bag or any container for up to six months.
