I know a lot of people don't like the divergent movies but this is my favourite book adaptation franchise and they displayed Four and Tris' relationship so well. I wish we could've gotten Ascendant.

Okay so for everyone who thinks her hair is short because of Fault In Our Stars, Tris cut her hair in the beginning of the second book. I haven’t read the books in years but if I remember correctly it was because the long hair reminded her of her mother (who had just died) and she was grieving so she cut it as a way to help herself move on.

Tris was a little sneaky. If you remember after this, she sneaks off while he is asleep to turn herself in. He would have never let her go. Since women can make us powerless at times, she was able to do it easily. Women will always be our greatest weakness.

If the production house was too disappointed because of the underperformance of Allegiant, they should redeem themselves with Ascendant. Since the movie plot was already way too different from what's in the book, change the ending also. GIVE FOURTRIS A HAPPY ENDING.

I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but it makes me soooo mad that Tris doesn't call him Tobias in the movies. I mean, in the books that was maybe one of my favorite things about it, she called him Tobias when nobody else did. How could they not add it? I mean in the sad scenes or even scenes like this one, how much more meaningful would it have been if she was saying "Tobias, No!" Or "Help me Tobias!" Vs "fOuR no!" Or "Help me FouR!" It's a little detail, but I would have changed the whole movie, in a good way. There's my rant for the day.

Yeah, it's their super personal thing, where he trusts her with his vulnerabilities and she accepts him for who he is, hurt and hidden parts and all. It is so beautiful in the books and I love that dynamic between them.

I´ve recently reread the trilogy and I say this again they do not have sex until the third book. So much of the second book was not taken into the movie. The relationship between Tris and Tobias is not as solid in the second book as it seemes in the movie! Tris is having emotional problems trying to deal with the fact that she killed Will, she can´t even hold a gun! She is having secrets for Tobias, telling lies... At one point in the book Tobias even tells Tris that if she does not get her act together he wil break up with here! And don´t even get me started with the changes they made with the third movie...

Yes. I’m at the end of the second book (haven’t seen the movie yet) but they did the same thing with the first one, but opposite. In the book it’s about going through all of this with Tobias and her love for him and stuff, the movie is about just being divergent.

We all wish she didn’t cut her hair but the reason it’s short is cuz coincidentally she was filming the fault in our stars around the shooting of insurgent AND in the book she did cut her hair in the first two chapters I can’t remember which

I love the books to death, and the first movie too. This might be quite rude, and I'm not saying I have anything wrong with it, but her hair takes away the character of Tris. When I pictured her in the book, I thought she had a bit shorter than shoulder length hair. I know that this came out and was shot near the time of another movie, but it takes away what could've been something that looked better (for me). Sorry, I just dislike how her hair looks, it doesn't really fit for her to look so different from 1st movie to second. I'm not trying to be rude in anyway, but I wish she had worn a slightly longer wig, or anything like that. Once again, I apologise.
