Today, I made a cheddar cheese big financier, which is an art of harmonizing intense sweet and salty taste. It's an addictive taste that I keep thinking about!
I think it's the perfect dessert for a day when you want a sweet dessert.
Big financier is usually in an oranda pan(small) which is bigger than the pan in the grilling financier. So, if you bake it like you normally do in financier, the outside will burn too much, so I lowered the temperature and baked it a little longer.
* If you want it to be a little more thick, bake it for about 5 minutes shorter than the time in my recipe! *
* Cheddar Cheese Big financier is coated with chocolate on the outside, but if you want to eat less sweet, you can omit the chocolate coating!
*Cheese cream has a different salty taste depending on the cream cheese, so if the cream cheese you are using is salty, reduce the amount of cheddar cheese powder. I think it would be better to add 5g first and add 1~2g each as you taste little by little.
This time, it was really delicious without the need for chocolate coating or cheese cream.
It is really delicious to eat only by grilling it in a financier pan without baking it in a separate oranda pan(small), so I hope you should try it once.
