Hi there! After making 18 interactive cards for our latest class at tarjeteamos.es/ I'm finally back with a new KZfaq tutorial featuring an interactive card with growing flowers and Lawn Fawn products.
Here are the measurements for the card, as promised (width x height):
- Card panel: 4 1/2" x 6 3/4" (11cm x 17cm)
- Patterned paper: 4 1/2" x 3 3/8" (11cm x 8,5cm)
- Mechanism: 4 1/2" x 6 3/4" (11cm x 17cm)
- Strip of cellophane: 3 1/2" x 18" (9cm x 46cm)
- Slider panel: 3 1/8” x 11 inch (8cm x 28cm) cut the length to fit
- Card base: 9” x 6 ¾” (22cm x 17cm) folded in half

Your card is amazing! You make such ingenious interactive cards! Your knowledge and execution is inspiring. I, personally, liked the lined fairies but you did a great job on your no line coloring and made it look good! Thank you for sharing your sweet card and your amazing talent with us!

I had to come back and thank you again, because I’ve been thinking about this adorable card all day! 😍☺️ And I also realised I didn’t mention in my earlier comments that I’m grateful that you showed us the fairies with the lines and the fairies with no lines. Seeing them both on the card helped me to understand why sometimes one style fits better than another, depending on what else is on the card. You’re a wonderful teacher!

Oh my god, this is so great. I wouldnt ever think of such clever technique at all! Now I have to find a way to match it up with my possibilities, because I dont own flowerpotdies or flowerdies. I think about a rising balloon...

PS. You were close! Those flowerpot edge pieces are called “rims” :) (But if they were hats, the edges would be called brims. English is confusing!)

I ask Google all kinds of things, haha! I’m the kind of person who likes to know the answer to all my questions, so often as soon as I wonder something, I’m googling it to find out the answer. But sometimes it’s hard to find an answer when you’re not sure what the right question is. Like if you google “What are the tops of pots called?” - Google would probably just suggest lots of places you can buy pots, or the best way to grow tomatoes!

Sarah P Me too! I tried several ways... for example Lawn Fawn's product info, "parts of a flower pot" , pottery, etc. 🤣

Dear Laura, sorry to bother you with measures, but this time I think that you really have made an error in converting the cm in inches. Infact, 17cm doesn't correspond to 9" but to 6,69". I have realized it by making the card. 9" are about 22cm as you correctly wrote in card base panel.

Hi Martina! You're absolutely right, it should be 6 3/4", not 9" (I said it correctly in the tutorial, but made a mistake writing the measurement in the box). Thank you so much for pointing it out, it's been corrected! Hugs 😊
